hmm... I don't watch many horror movies, even though I want to.. but the last horror movie I watched was 'The Visit' by N Shayamalan.. it scared me sooo much.

Don't remember if it has jumpscares, but it's just... scary ...all the more because it could happen in reality.

I just remembered.

A few months ago, I watched Hide and Seek starring Robert de Niro and Dakota Fanning... it was scary too! You may feel bored in the beginning for quite sometime, but only until the plot unravels.. but all in all, I think it was rather underwhelming.. but then, quite scary, cos it could happen in reality too.

If you want a horror movie then The Conjuring is good while if you just want a scary kinda movie, I liked The Birds. Paranormal Activity is also good.

The Grudge 1 and 2.

The Conjuring 1.

Insidious series esp 1 and 2.

Also, weirdly enough Annabelle Creation scared the eff out of me😆

I watched Insidiousand it's not scary so much as filled with a subliminal kind of atmosphere. Even after watching just a bit of it I had horrible nightmares.
