So now I also kind of see the reason behind rajan's obsession to get vyom and sharanya married. Today, this dialogue that he said to sharanya about leaving his family for her, right in all of their presence revealed the extent to his obsession with sharanya. The way he said it was as if he had no care in the world for his family or relatives apart from sharanya. There was so much coldness in the way he addressed leaving his family for her. He didn't even say family, he just addressed them as "In sab" (all these people), as if they are just friends he recently made that don't matter to him on the whole. Rajan knew all along the extent to vyom's obsession perhaps, that vyom could do anything, including forsake his own family for his love for sharanya. So rajan wanting vyom to marry sharanya as soon as possible was his way of pacifying vyom and making sure he doesn't ever leave him.

In previous episode we saw he was a disturbed child and he had a habit of drinking once, which I guess Sharanya cured. And his family is like a bunch of criminals. He said same thing about his mom too when she was trying to kill herself. So may be Sharanya and his mom are the two things he cares.
