He is the main protogonist of the show, the show runs on him. 😳He is present probably shown as negative or helpless to save someone from dying but there might be some reason for his imcapabilites.😒

Forum ka bhi hai, the forum runs on him be it a drooling post or ya kuch aur 😉 How can he save anybody? Bachane k liye pakdhna padhta hai we he can't.

It was evident that Vyom is making false stories since Shranya came out of coma & had memory loss... since that time it was obvious that his character is fishy... but since he dragged away Sharnya from Odhani's place its certain that he too is involved in Shiv's murder.
