hotstar not running smoothly

hotstar is not running smoothly on my laptop ...can someone tell me why , when i try to watch a video on it runs but with atak atak ke but when i click on new tab it start running smoothly bcs i can listen the sound but when again i go on hotstar tab it start fluctuating again ...why this is happening , last month i used to get err connection msg on crome when i used to open any site then it resolve automatically...can someone tell me is this happening bcs of err connection issue ...help me plz.

Most of the times any site specifically video hosting sites used by more number of viewers cause problem.
