Vishakha- I wanted write about her since last week but couldn't as I was busy. Yes no doubt she is the one to blame for not being there for Sameer during his important growth years. Initially I thought of her as a lady who is judgmental and also sometimes shrewd but that day while confronting Sameer, the expression on her face said something else. She seemed to be a helpless woman who had no other option but to give in to the situations that came her way. Being a single mother is never easy. It is not easy now so imagine how difficult it would have been in 90s. She had no other option but to get married the second time and that was also for Sameer's sake. But unfortunately her second husband may be a good partner but is not a good father. Also children are never very easily accepting towards their step parents and this has always led to the parent being sandwiched between his/her children and their new family. I have myself seen a close friend of mine having difficult relations with her father and step-mom. But again she was wrong to blame Sameer for being unworthy of love. But for the first time I felt bad for her that day.
Swati- A gem of a friend. Take a bow. If Sameer has Munna-Pandit then Naina has Swati's back always. The way she was sad for Naina today and was angry on Munna-Pandit-Sameer, I was sure that Naina can get no better friend than Swati. At the end Naina-Swati's friendship is way older than Sameer-Munna-Pandit.
Taiji- O bai this lady's mouth spews venom. She talks such mean words that sometimes I feel she is the most misfit person in their house. Atleast Safari suit is shown to be rude but he doesn't talk such bitter words like Taiji. She has no sense of what to say in front of children, always taunting Naina about her father's income. And today she crossed all her limits by taunting her on her mother's death. I m very sure that in future someday even Safari suit will agree with Naina-Sameer's love story but this lady will still be the major barrier.
Naina- This girl's situation is pitiable. There is not a single thing that doesn't remind her of Sameer. I wish to say this to Sameer- Dude what have you done? She is dead on the inside. Along with Sameer's betrayal I think there is one more daunting thought she is having. And that is guilt. Guilt of giving so much importance to Sameer than her family. Betraying her family's trust by lying to them all these days in some or the other form. Though that feeling has not completely over-powered her thoughts but may be after few days she might feel it, once she is back from hospital.
Sameer- This poor guy is in so much guilt, woh kya khud se nazrein milayega! He is so confused and now after seeing Naina in the hospital he will never be able to forgive himself for this. It's too much to handle for a teenager. At the end he is a teenager he hasn't committed such a huge crime to get such a big punishment. But then that's how he will learn in life.
P.S: I feel now they should mellow down the drama a bit. It's too much for such teenagers to handle. Just start their school please. School scenes are usually less melodramatic.
