Was the 'leap' a requisite?

Seeing today's ivs and reading the discussion today ,really got me thinking that did the show really need a leap afterall?

Since kekti is story writer good knows what will happen next.

The problem with that is that they would have to show more of avni in jail till the point comes that she transforms into the avni she is now; calculative, intelligent, knows how to predict people's actions before they do it etc. They would have to drag the jail track for quite a bit of time if they were to show this drastic transformation in avni, because in these 6 months, avni learnt all these new skills by observing the behaviour of people, especially the staff at the jail so that in future, when she wanted to escape and get revenge on vidyut, she could use those new found skills to her advantage. The scene when avni was getting bandaged in the jail and trying to steal hydrochloric acid is evidence of this, because avni was calculating in her head the amount of time she had to steal the acid and sit back down before being spotted by the female guard who was doing her rounds. She's been observing everybody in jail during those 6 months to be able to pick up on everybody's behavioural patterns.

Sirf sansani bhikti hai ! At the end it's just a television show not a novel where we will get a slight idea of what is actually happening . Now the story can run only through flashbacks. If they start showing flashbacks when will they move forward with the story and how much flashback could they show .

But we won't get at any point how Avni became this calculative , manipulative Avni 😆 Umar beet jayegi if they start showing it. Think if they show how did she start digging the hole 😆 Maybe that will show how did Ali and Avni plan the jail break and how Ali managed to take up food service in jail .

I guess that's why this 6 month was essential; because this transformation of avni would be hard to show without dragging the jail track and giving us so many episodes without avneil. The leap happened only in the last 5 minutes of monday's episode, but people on the forum were already getting bored by wednesday of the jail scenes, remember?

well, yes it would have been a big on drag -fest. Isn't it!!I am,myself, sick of the jail already to say the least. So, series of flashbacks to prevent the drag. It makes me feel better now!! :)

When first I saw Neil as Neo I thought he totally lost faith in system that he has turned into a vigilante . I'm ready to give time for explaining that part .

I wonder what are they gonna show . They don't have idea about the next episode . It's clear from OLV . My concern is Avni . What is she gonna do to revenge Vidyut . Will she join him to watch him closely and trap him or escape jail . She is unstoppable now. It's not like Ashish case. At least he never gave her hopes of supporting Ayesha and broke her trust . He was coward and fit for nothing from beginning. Neil was upside down of him . So Avni's wounds are deeper and worse . I really look forward for her being indifferent with Neil but CVs only know what they have planned . Only if they execute well without ruining the characters

But this leap is essential to build the plot .

yes, sansani hi bikti hai! That is very very true!!And we can only hope cvs understand our laments and come up with a great execution. I have high hopes from "Avni-Vidyut milan". I hope it is at least something way better than Christmas celebrations

If all they wanted to show is each of them trying their ways out the mess then they could've done it without a leap as well.. 😉

The only thing the leap served is Avni digging the hole and ready to escape.. 😆

Even that they made her fail so the leap doesn't have a justification😆 They could've made het run in front of everyone like a mad woman.. 😆

Yeah how can we forget. The stylish Neo😆 But yeah the foundation could've been set without the leap as well.. 😉 At least we could've enjoyed Neo better without questioning what and why.. 😆

yes, they could have made a base and then taken a leap. But as most of the people have pointed out, it would have been a drag fest. And I think, after thinking about it for a while, I wouldn't have taken so "positively " to another drag track after juhi's. So only in that light leap is acceptable. But they must must must throw light on Neil's part. and soon.

maybe, they will! I wouldn't mind a few more flashbacks. Or maybe an episode or two based on flashbacks. But how they execute it further is the real question.
