In the last few spoilers, OLV and this pic, there is a continuity in the dress colors.

Therefore, there are 3 sequences in one continuous shot, though I am not sure about the order.

1. OLV of Sameer/ MP fighting with rival boys.
2. During the above OLV fight sequence, Sameer also meets his Mother / Step Father in Mount Abu. Sameer's parents refuse to recognize him in front of their friends/guests.
3. OLV of Sameer talking with MP about his lonely hostel life, the slaps he got from Rakesh, his aim of bet and how the care shown by Naina is the only care he has received in years from a lady. He also mentioned Naina took care of him in her hostel room, which is a big thing for a girl to do.
4. In The OLV number 3, Naina also comes, MP leaves, She gives the sweater and Sameer laves out of guilt.
5. In the Instagram pic: Sameer is crying (most probably hurt by his mother's refusal to recognize him) and Naina in the background. Note that Sameer is not holding the sweater.

Therefore as per me here is the most probable sequence of events:

Sameer confused about Bet with guilt and his feelings for Naina ----> Rival Boys say something insulting for him or Naina ------> Sameer fights with them like a rowdy ------> He meets his parents during the fight ------> They Refuse to even recognize him -------> Sameer is Emotionally Broken and Runs off to be alone ------> Naina comes to know about it -------> She goes to Sameer and consoles him ------> Naina takes care of him by letting him in her room -------> Next day Morning Sameer leaves her Room and talks with MP how Naina is the one who always takes care of him and he can't hurt her ------> Naina arrives and gives him the sweator ------> Sameer is overwheelmed with guilt, emotion abd love & runs away from there.
