Chapter 4:-
At school:-
With mannu and raj :-
"YOU!" Both mannu and raj shouted pointing at each other. Sukhi stood there in confusion looking at both mannu and then raj " Umm .. mannu you both know each other? " . "You are that boy. The mango thief!" raj said still pointing at him. (mannu )
Flashback :-
Raj was sitting in the mango garden . Waiting for his mother. Both raj and his mother had came there to give lunch to his father. Raj knowing his father hatred for him and as not to trouble his mother decided to wait in the mango field. The last time when he went with his mother his father refused to eat lunch and vent his anger out on his mother.
Raj decided to stroll /walk around the mango garden with the help of his crutches. After a while raj sat under one of the tree. He sat down and leaned against the tree...looking up, starring at the sky. It was a nice day. 'The weather looks clear. Don't think it will rain today. ...' Raj thought putting away his crutches aside by the tree ( the one which he is sitting ) . It's already July and still no rain. July is the month of monsoon but the weather was still hot and dry like summer.' If it won't rain rain it won't be good for the crops...and papaji will also be really angry and mad at me. ' For some reason harjeet always used to vent his anger out on Amrit or Raj. Mostly on Raj. Whether it's there mistake or not. Even yesterday harjeet blamed raj for losing an auction(i dont know what its called ) against the pawania calling him unlucky. As usual amrit came for his rescue but harjeet took his anger on her to. 'Why? ' Raj sadly thought ' God Why did you made me like this? Why you made me such that I can't even support my mother? I can't protect her from my father wrath? Papaji always beat my mummy and I can't do anything '. Raj use to think about this every single day. He was used of his father hatred and anger. But he didn't liked when Harjeet took his anger on Amrit . He tries to stop harjeet from hurting amrit but cause of his disability he unable to do much.
Suddenly, Raj heard some rustling behind him. He turned around and saw a boy on the tree plucking mangoes. " Who is this boy? What is he doi-- Wait! He is stealing our mangoes?! ' " Hey! Wait who are you? What do you think you are doing stealing our mango. "Raj shouted . The boy stopped what he was doing and looked around in panic . "Huh?" . "What are looking around? I'm talking to you? " Raj said/shouted. This time the boy looked down. "Get down NOW! Agar mein upar aya na toh--"
"Have you ever ate mango from the tree? "
"What? " Raj looked confused.
" I said Have you ever ate mango from the tree? Come we will eat together "
'...Well I didn't ate mango from the tree --Wait!Raj stop this he is trying to trick you' raj thought mentally scolding himself for almost falling for the trick. "I said get down from there or else .Mali kaka! There is a thief--"
"Hey what are doing stop it! Why calling the Mali try to understand I'm not a thief Please don't do this veere you will get me in trouble . "
"Not a thief! You are stealing the mango. .in front of me and saying that you are not a thief! "
"Areey yar. .. try to understand. Fine how about this you can keep half of the share of mango "
"No! I don't want any mangoes! Mali kaka where are you? Come here there is a thief--"
"Stop it! . Stop calling me a thief! I said more than once that I'm not a thief! Why are you creating a scene for just a couple of mangoes? Are you an Idiot or what ?
' This boy how dare he! ... First he is stealing mangoes from our garden and now he is calling me an idiot!? ' Raj thought angrily and then yelled at the boy "Get down from there now! Warna agar mein upar agaya na toh bohot pitai karunga. " The boy now glared at raj and jumped down from the tree and angrily made his way towards raj . 'Oh no' raj thought. "Acha! toh tu mujhe mare ga? khoteya! "the boy shouted. And then they both started fighting. The boy was strong but raj was smarter he somehow managed to defend himself. "Raj ? Beta, where are you?". 'Mummy ji? I'll call her she might help me to stop the thief." "Mummy ji! I'm here. Come here quick he--Ahh"
The boy panicked, he pushed raj on the ground hurting him in the process , he then climbed the tree quickly got his bag of mango , got down and was about to run when raj shouted again "Wait there you thief " The boy turned around and said "I'm not a thief. Agar dubara mere samne aya na toh bohot pitunga " With that the boy left. "Agar himat hai toh yaha aa phir batata hu tujhe. " Raj shouted back at the boy. But by the time the boy had already left and probably didn't even heard him.
End of Flash back
"You stole the mango from our garden ." Raj accused him /said . "Thief? Mangoes? Mannu who is this boy? what is he saying?" Sukhi asked confused looking at both raj and then mannu . 'Mannu so that's this thief's name.'
"Veerji I'll explain later . And you I said it to you then and now again I'm saying that I'm not a thief. Your misunde--"
"So you mean I'm lying. I saw you from my own eyes , stealing mangoes from the garden. And you saying your not a thief!"
Mannu was about explain but stopped when he noticed raj's wound in his hand and face. The wound in his hand was not that seviyer. But the wound in his face especially his nose was not good and was probably even broken. Raj's nose was red and swollen and there was little blood coming out of the nose. ' I think that happened when the boys pushed him. ...when he felled down. ' he quickly look overed the boy for any other wounds and that's when he noticed the name card/ID card. 'Raj/Rajveer Bajwa?! He is from the bajwas , but from what I heard from gunjan didi that there were only two kids from the bajwa one rohan and then another guy named raman...who is this boy. ...i'll ask gunjan didi about him later , but now. ..' " Sukhi veerji you leave for the class "
"Huh? And you? What about you mannu? "
"I'll catch up with you later veerji. Now go the class is about to start right? Now go hurry up! "
"Umm ok"with that sukhi reculantly left. After sukhi left he turned back his attention to Raj. "Come" Mannu said and reached out his hand to help him up "What? Where? "Raj asked him trying to get away from him. "Don't worry . I'm not going to do anything to you. Your hurt so we have to do something about your wound. Now come. "Mannu repiled and again tried to help him up , but raj pushed him away." No I don't need your help or sympathy. I can take care of myself. I don't need help from a thief. " "Listen. ..I don't have time for all this. We both are getting late for our class. And don't think that I'm helping you out of sympathy. Got it" with that mannu rather forcefully helped him up. He picked up his back pack. Gunjan had told him that if he had any problem he can come to her or go to the school office. He thought he won't be able to go to gunjan as she must be busy in her class and he didn't think she will be able to do much help on this situation. So he thought he will go to the office. Hopefully the staff in the office might have some medical kit. He went to the office while dragging along an angry raj who kept on ranting and accusing mannu and refusing to take his help. Mannu just ignored him dragged him along and then they finally reached the office .

I'm really sorry for the 'really' late update . I had an accident and was on treatment so I was unable to update the ff . So really sorry for that.
