Ishita was looking down feeling embarrassed of her motor mouth while Raman was busy in admiring her. She was looking down waiting for him to say something but all he was doing was looking at her and smiling. Both were just lost in their world when chuniya brough tea for them and said -raman sir, ishita didu, here I brought the world's best tea, come let's enjoy.
Ishra look at chuniya and raman walked behind her still looking at ishita while ishita mentally kicked herself for cursing him nonstop. Chuniya served raman tea and went to bring biscuit for him while ishita was still standing there looking at the ground.
At last he said -kuch gir gaya hai aapka.
Ishita looked at him hearing his question and said -huh??
Raman -u r looking at the ground continuously so I thought. Agar sab OK hai toh chai pee lijiye. Trust me it's the best I have in recent times. He said smiling enjoying her nervousness.
She just nodded and sat beside him but a little far. She took her tea and start sipping her tea. Soon chuniya showed up with biscuits and served it to Raman. Soon all were having their tea in complete silence. Chuniya was busy in talking anything and everything while raman was still looking at ishita, who was still looking at the ground not able to look at him.
After having tea,
Chuniya -ok now I am going, as I am getting late for school. Bye raman sir, bye didu. Saying so she kissed ishita's cheek and then raman's and finally went leaving ishra alone.
Raman had his tea and was still looking at her while she was busy in sipping the tea for long. Raman got up a little and said looking at her cup -i think it's finished already.
Ishita look at her empty cup and realised her tea was already finished. She mouthed a sorry and was going without telling anything when he finally held her hand and said -i came to meet me, don't u want to say anything.
Ishita turned and said looking down-woh actually woh act, she was saying when he said -if u don't like me coming here then I can go. Sorry I don't know ki aapko mujhe dekh kar itna bura lagega ki aap iss tarah chup ho jayengi or else I wouldn't have even thought of meeting u. He was saying when she said -no nothing like that, woh actually I am sorry.
Raman -sorry for what.
Ishita -woh I was cursing u naa, Maine pata nahi kya kya keh diya. Aapko bura lagaa hoga naa.
Raman smiled and make her sit on the chair and said -nahi, bura nahi lagaa. To be true mujhe bahut achcha lagaa. Pehli baar lagaa ki shayad main bhi kisi ke liye important hoon. Pehli baar lagaa ki mera bhi kisi ko intezaar hai. Aur yeh joh feeling hai naa, yeh bahut precious hoti hai. Aur itni khoobsurat feeling dene ke liye, I think I should thank u. Toh woh baat thanks bolne wali ho, uske liye sorry nahi bolna chahiye.waise bhi jab koi itna khoobsurat ho toh uski choti moti galti maaf kar deni chahiye. He said looking at her smiling making her look at him.
Ishita -matlab Aap mujhse gussa nahi.
Raman -apne eklaute friend se koi kaise gussa ho sakta hai ishita ji. He said making her smile too.
Raman -thank god Aap muskurayi toh. Warna mujhe lagaa aap aisa hi sada hua face banaa kar baithi rahengi. Itna toh mujhse mere students nahi darte, jaise Aap darr rahi thi.
Ishita -shayad unhe aapko khone ka darr nahi ho. She said and realised what she said.
Raman -aapko mujhe kho dene ka darr hai kya?? He asked looking at her eyes.
Ishita look down and said -main aapke liye kuch aur laati hoon. She said and was going when raman hold her hand and said -i don't want anything other then answer to my question.
Ishita -zindagi mein itne rishte khoye hai ki ab kisi ko kho dene ki himmat nahi hai. I know I am nothing for u, may be just a cook but I have started seeing a friend in u, I don't know when this happened but I started expecting something from u, shayad tareef hi, but yes I was expecting an answer from u, aur jab nahi aata jawaab toh gussa ho gayi. She said looking at him who was also looking at her.
Ishita -i know aap soch rahe honge ki kaise main zabardasti aapse rishta jod rahi hoon, but what to do, it's not in my hand, shayad akelepan ka side effect hai. But don't worry, main aapko pareshan nahi karungi, at least I will try not to bother u.
Raman -kyun??
Ishita -kyunki main kisi se umeed nahi lagana chahti.
Raman -aisa kyun??
Ishita -kyunki Maine aksar umeedon toh tutte dekha hai, aur phir logon ko bhi. I don't want it again for myself. She said looking down while he was still looking at her. He was feeling like she is telling about his feeling not hers. He too had expectations from his children which they shattered badly.
Seeing raman not saying anything, she just gave a fake smile and was going when she heard -but main chahunga ki aap mujhse umeed lagayen.
Ishita heard and turned when he got up and went little closer to her. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear which was disturbing his view since long and said -kyunki mujhe aapse umeed ho gayi hai, that whatever happens with me in future, meri yeh dost mera saath kabhi nahi chodegi. Aur main nahi chahta ki meri umeed tute. I hope I can expect this much from u. He said looking at ishita to which she just nodded and look at him. Both were looking at each other and they shared an intense eye lock. That's when they heard some voice, both look at the direction and saw few women were coming talking to each other. They look at each other and found they were more close then usual, they broke and stand apart.
Ishita -mere workers aa rahe hai.
Raman -ok, I think I should go now.
Ishita -if u want, u can wait here. I will serve u breakfast in sometime. Phir Aap chahe toh yahin se college jaa sakte hai.
Raman -but it will be awkward sitting here.
Ishita -aap ander wait kar lijiye, Aap yahan hai, phir yahan se jayenge, I will send food for u and then u will eat. Won't it be better if u eat here only.
Raman -as u say, he said and ishita took him inside. Raman was looking around, it was a small house, most of the house was turned into store to keep the food grains and vegetables while she use only a hall and a bedroom for herself.
Ishita make him sit and said -i know thoda tacky hai, aur chota bhi. But don't worry, it will not take much time. Aap boliye aap kya khayenge, I will make it for u.
Raman -iss special treatment ke liye thank u, but I don't want anything special from u. Kyunki Aap joh bhi banati hai, woh special hi hota hai. So anything will do.
Ishita thought for a while and said -idli khayenge.
Raman -aap idli banati hai kya.
Ishita -ofcourse, yahan ke logon ko main breakfast hota hai woh.
Raman -really, but u never send that to me.
Ishita -coz u asked for punjabi breakfast.
Raman -oh yes, my fault. Will love to eat idli from ur kitchen. But I don't like that dal type thing. Give me that white chatni only.
Ishita smiled and said -got it, u don't want sambhar only chatni.
Raman -yes, can I go and see how all r working. Only if u permit.
Ishita -yes, please go. Till I make steaming hot idlis for u.
Raman nodded and went out. He stand there and start seeing everyone doing their work. Raman was enjoying seeing them cooking in such big utensils. He was just standing there and was enjoying while ishita was busy in making idlis for him.
After ten minutes, she came and said -its done, come have ur breakfast.
Raman turned and came to her. She served him and was going when he said -tum kahan chali, I mean Aap kahan chali. Sorry I called u tum.
Ishita -no problem, waise bhi main aapse choti hoon. Aap mujhe tum bula sakte hai.
Raman -ok then tell me, tum kahan jaa rahi ho.
Ishita -kahin nahi, just going to check. Aap khaiye.
Raman -no I won't, tum aao, hum saath khayenge.
Ishita -mujhe time lagega, Aap kha lijiye.
Raman -no I won't eat without u. Please ishita, come and have breakfast with me. I don't like eating alone but sadly had to eat alone as I don't have anyone but now as i have u as my friend, I don't want to eat alone. So eat with me if u want me to eat warna main aise hi college chala jaaunga. He said insisting her to which she just smiled and said -ok Aap shuru kijiye, main Ek baar check karke aayi hoon sab.
Raman -tum aao ,tab saath mein khayenge. Ishita nodded and went out to check the work.
