For A while I had thought Apachi indian n BABA sehgal had made an entry into Sam ..😆😆!

Re BABA...RE BABA...wo ladki...ilove u...🤣 HA ke NA🤣

The way he was rapping behuda lyrics with those hand movements ..reminded me of atleast BABA 😆...i used to dislike him n that guy made an entry in early 90s...His thanda thanda paani was a rave those days 😆...n We had the sudden jump of pop culture in our choti si duniya then...with Alisha,Sweta Singh,Suneeta Rao,Apache,Mehnaz,..were the earlier singers who started to rule then...😉

So the infusion of pop music started in early 90s n im sure many of u must hve ur personal favs...Guys care to share as this was one of the imp aspect trending those days competing with the filmy music...!!

I had the cassette of thanda thanda Pani.. Baba Sehgal ka..

N then Made in India by Alisha was hot favourite amongst my school girls..

N pari Hun mein by sunnita Rao is still best song for playing garba... Even after all these years... Thanks to Falguni Pathak...

N den there were 2 albums by Sonu Nigam.. towards the end of 90s... One was Deewana n other I don't remember...

Tanha Dil by Shaan was n is still a favourite...

N even Falguni Pathak had released a few albums...

V used to put on Mtv just to listen to these songs...

I loved Mehnaz Miss india...Alisha Chinoys DE DE mujhko waa a sensous one...😆 😆 with Lover gal hovering around too...Sunita Raos pari hoon mai was my fav too...!

Illa Arun was worst🤢

Falguni pathak had the decent ones ...Chudi jo khanke haat mei had the beautiful beats...Shans loveology was cute!

Daler n Sukhbir were too around!

.o don't get me started on thanda thanda pani I used to hate that song till now.

My most fav was Shankar ehsaan loys

And sonunigams deewane hokey hum milney lage sanam

.and offcourse tune pyal jo chankayi.

Duniya rayos deewaney hai deewaney to deewaney hai .

And alisha chinnoys made in india❤️ and dil ke badle me dil de .

And but but my most fav one shaans Tanha dil gosh that songs I still had in my lips😳❤️

Sameer ka "Re Baba" "Re Baba" sunke mere toh hosh hi udd gaye the...like kya tha woh... 🤣

My most fav was Falguni Pathak's *Meine payal hai chankai* & *yaad piya ki aane lagi*

Then Shaan's *Tanha dil* (my still fav song)

Sonu Nigam's songs... those were my ❤️ in those days.

Had listened to dat song just once or twice... But it was the only cassette my father bought coz the shopkeeper said it was very good😆.. or else he was always in Rafi Mukesh n lata

Tanha DIL was my fav too n i loved the remix version of DIL KYA KAREYA...sung by him...the Julie song...!the picturization was damn perfect ...i loved that model 😆😆 he was HAWTT!!😆...

Junoon...the paki boy band was also my fav...their songs Yaar Bina dil mera nahi lagta...😆

SonuNigams deewana tera...i loved his vocals...i didnt like his song with Bipasha Basu though ...

Gori Naal ishq mita was a hit song...i loved the model Jasbir😆

Dil Kya Kare was amazing..Instant Karma was the album name?

90's was golden period of pop music. Too bad it died too soon with introduction of remixes - Kaanta Laga started the death bell of Indipop.

Otherwise, it was such a great alternative of Bollywood music.

I still have cassettes from those days. 😃 Kept them around just for nostalgia sake.
