More than money or being threatened, the point here is that he cannot decide for Nimki who is not only an adult but also the Mukhiya of the village. If Nimki accepts the proposal he cannot stop her.

I hope this spoiler is wrong. It is probable given Tetar ki desperation. They 've also shown Abhis growing attraction to Nimki. So, I hold out some hope still

As of now I am not rooting for any couple.

I started watching this show because I read somewhere that Indraneil Sengupta is part of this show.

I found his character quite interesting in the beginning but of late he is only shown day dreaming about Nimki and nothing much so that interest waned a bit.

I find the story of Tettar and his family very interesting though.
