The Glorious Mrs.Khanna -AvNeil OS

Neil and Avni had just returned to their room after having dinner. He is sitting on the couch, studying a case file while his wife is pacing in front of him, worrying about Bebe's health. He smiles as he watches Avni frown while her mouth moving a hundred miles per second. He suddenly pulls his worrier wife into his lap. Avni who was raving and ranting about how Bebe doesn't listen to anyone shuts up. Neil loses himself in his wife's beautiful eyes. He slowly, but with difficulty moves his gaze from her eyes to her luscious lips. He is about to kiss the living daylights out of his wife when Juhi enters the room calling out his name.

"Oh! utters Juhi witnessing the moment in front of her.

Embarrassed, Neil and Avni break away from each other. Neil, flees the room saying that he wants coffee.

"I..I.. am sorry. apologizes Juhi and is about to leave the room when

"Juhi! says Avni effectively stopping her from moving out of the room.

"Can we talk? questions Avni.

"Yes, of course, Avni, replies Juhi while walking towards Avni.

Avni looks at Juhi in her eye and asks her,

"Do you know where you are standing right now Juhi?

Confused at Avni's weird question, Juhi nods.

"Yes, Avni. I am in Neil's room.

"No Juhi, this was Neil's room, Neil who was your Boyfriend utters Avni without breaking the eye contact.

"Before our marriage, this was Neil's room. But now, now that he's married to me, this is our room Juhi. Neil my husband and my room rolls out Avni determinedly stressing on the word Husband.

"The thing is Juhi, I don't like you barging into our room, without knocking at 11 pm of the night. Any wife wouldn't like his ex-girlfriend barging into their room so late at night. It makes me uncomfortable., continues Avni.

"Juhi, I sympathize with all the things you have gone through in your life. I really do. And I love Mishty. But she is the only reason I agreed for you to stay in my house. I also have been through a difficult childhood and I can understand what Mishty went through to an extent that cannot be explainable. But what I won't allow is you getting in between me and Neil's relationship.

"I love Neil. I love Neil so much that I can do anything for him. I have been very understanding until now. But this is beyond even me Juhi. I won't take it that you barge into our room and make us, make me uncomfortable in my own house., says Avni, her furious gaze not moving from Juhi's.

"Juhi, If Neil would have still loved you, or even had feelings for you, I would have left him. I would have left him, for my self-respect and my sanity. I have seen my mother struggling to be my father's second my whole life. I have been my father's second. But in this, in the most important relationship of my life, I won't be Neil's second. I refuse to be his second.

"I am sorry if this all came out to be very rude Juhi. I know I am a tube light. Hence the most important form of communication for me is talking'. I also am a straightforward person Juhi. I don't talk behind anyone's back nor do I keep things within me and let them eat me away.

"Juhi I really hope you don't take this the wrong way. And I really hope you'll understand., utters Avni in a softer tone.

"And you too, says Avni looking at Neil who is standing in the doorway with a mug in his hand.

After the awkward moment of Juhi witnessing him and Avni kiss, an embarrassed Neil fled the spot and came to Kitchen to get coffee. He came back to the room with the coffee which was already prepared by Bebe, hoping that Juhi had left the room.

Neil stops in the doorway as he witnesses his Lady Don in action.

He smiles and nods at Avni's questioning gaze all the while thinking "Waah meri Sherni. Waah!
