I think Clark did go out on some dates with this woman, but had no idea she had a kid, and I don't recall how far the relationship had gone. But he was in no way convinced he was the dad, coz I think even he could not remember the "said incident other than some vague memories, kind of like our OWN Superman! LOL. Later it was proven that there had been an incident during which this woman's kid had been exposed to some sort of power field in which Superman was, and had absorbed some of his powers. She wanted to make a meal of the sitaution so claimed that he was the kid's Dad. (Kind of like our own Ratty darling).
Anyways my point in bringing this up was that I remembered how upset Lois was that Clark may have a child with another woman. She was seen insecure. Not because she doubted his feelings, but the idea that he has a kid with someone else was upsetting her. This was an American woman who you would think is used to the idea of men having kids outside marriage, and also before they committ to someone. But no, she was not happy with it, and neither was she willing to be OK about it. In fact Clark's parents were upset. They were not happy with the idea that their son had a child with a woman other than the one he was married to or going to marry.
So it seems the makers of Lois and Clark were not as "Prorgressive as the makers of Naamkarann, and neither was Lois or Clark's family as modern as Avni nor the Khanna's appear to be! I must say I kind of liked the regressive Kent family better than the progressive Khanna's! LOL
Mandy the Banker, over and out! :)
