EDT~ ep 22, 21 11.17, My stance~ Dictates of conscience..
There are many who maintain that humans collectively are much inhumane, which accounts for killings and wars carried out by generations across history till date. However as much as humans individually, may suffer from the I , issue , yet somewhere along the line there still resides some goodness within their hearts and minds that draws the line between them and animals. Thus while some humans are simply selfish, while others follow the herd instinct. Yet there are those too, who tend to follow the dictates of their conscience! But for those who follow their inner voice, come across, much conflict and discord within the world around them. Heeding to their conscience may involve sacrificing or giving up something dear, to gain something more valuable or from preventing some evil from happening. Today's episode for me is about instances where characters are seen going through tough decisions to either surrender, achieve , or prevent some disaster, from happening..
Vyom follows his sense of duty and disrupts Sharanya's learning about her past session with Odhni! My reaction was, he is too interfering, what is Vyom so afraid off about her past? that he forbids her or anyone else who facilitates Sharanya in getting to? Vyom's action seemed grey to me. The scene outside Odhni's place between Sharanya and Vyom, is understandably one of great dissension between the two! To me along with Sharanya, Vyom sounds imposing. She protests she was one step of knowing about her past , seeing the face of one who haunts her! and he stopped her! Vyom being a man is heavy handed, throws her over his shoulder and piles her in the car with much right over her! words like force are spoken by him! the more Sharanya defends and justifies herself . Vyom dismisses her! Odhni and some being who does not even exist! Yes.. he reacts how Sharanya expects him to. But shranaya decides to enact this falling out with Vyom as much as she can! Till the very end! When she achieves the desired out come! For Sharanya knows what left an impact on her the most after her session with Odhni .. it is not so much awareness of her past, it is more to do with something terrible that might happen now! only she has the power in her hands to avert it not Odhni!
Vyom assumes, once safely at home with her own family he will rally support for his action and perhaps condemnation for hers! But Sharanya turns not only on him! but her own family too for packing her off with a man she has no recollection off, let alone love him!! she is ending her sham relationship with Vyom! and will likewise sever ties with who so ever sides with him! None can decipher what Sharanya's real motive is? in turning Vyom out of her life! Cruel words meant to harm him! do harm Vyom most! She accuses him of forcing his love upon her! is this forcing her to love him , a price he wants for caring for her in the past two years??? Vyom smarts badly by her pungent words to the point of tears! almost near break down! He begs her to let him into her room! not to close the doors of her heart! He fought destiny for her! But Sharanya turns deaf to his woes! Lets' him breakdown! She has to be cruel.. to show him favour! He cannot see it ! but she can see the repercussions of what might happen?? Symbolically all the doors of her home are open! to let Vyom out of Sharanya's life.. he walks out reluctantly..
Back in the privacy of her room ,she breaks down in floods of tears.. Vyom.. Vyom.. yes she broke even their friendship..whatever they weaved together in her recent days of her post coma..yes her cruel words that he dictates terms, forces his love upon her! that love cannot be forced! Yes she confesses to herself she was malicious beyond all measures against him but she is only following the dictates of her conscience! Carrying out an act to save him from danger!! to save his life! she will have to walk away from Vyom!! for Odhni warned her, the spirit will kill anyone who is found near her! so Sharanya cries, she will not give Vyom another chance to come near her! it 's clear both are emotionally bruised. Vyom still in a daze by her sudden uncalled walk out of his life ... his soul groans to her soul, Sharanya ,unrequited love is a weakness.. whilst fulfilled love is one's greatest strength.. but Sharanya can only hear the calling of her consciences.. to surrender their bond , to secure his life! is this another form of love where one looks beyond one's self to another's survival?
How times change!! where once the nomadic Shiv's stood outside Sharanya's window his frosty palm pressed against the window pane.. now Vyom stands expelled out of Sharanya's house and her life! While Shiv continues to be resident of Sharanya's house and her life! This time the unseen presence relaxes in her rocking chair.. she may not have seen him! but then her shock shows ,she knows! he's here to stay! While Vyom is out!
Those with families return home after a gruelling experience. Lucky for Sharanya and Vyom, both have family units to turn too, for healing and support. Shiv seen as a wandering spirit is family free! but he tends to hover around Sharanya looking for revival of past love connections?
In yesterday's episode Vyom bonded with his mother. More in the nature of maternal nurture and care! Today when Vyom returns, emotionally ravaged and rejected, it's his father Rajan who provides him solid man to man support by hearing out a son's problem and giving Vyom some possible options to address the problem!
Rajan too follows the dictates of his conscience.. is realistic with his son Vyom, Sharanya going off on a tangent is not unlikely. Rajan ensures as a father that he reminds his son of all the positive things Vyom went gone through in gaining Sharanya. Rajan encourages his son to bring to surface those dormant areas.. like Vyom's musical creative ability! To win back Sharanya's love! I suspect his son wasting his talent was probably bothering Rajan as a responsible father! Now he advises Vyom to utilize his heart break to win back Sharanya.. by making music! Let his symphonies appeal to her heart!
All is not lost for Vyom! broken heart moulded into art! Backed by his mother's love and his father's war cry to fight for love! Vyom follows the dictates of his conscience .. it 's only right he fights to get Sharanya back! They are destined to be together! His guitar! His music! the agony of his soul will provide both him and Sharanya some solace..
Sharanya's family begin to gather, that she possibly regrets her showdown with Vyom! they allow her time to clear her head.. but Sharanya knows she did the right thing! She cannot put Vyom's life at risk due to the mess in her life.. some regrets, at her cruel words to him. It makes her anxious.. sudden feeling of cold shivers.. the arm chair rocks again! Shiv ends up lying beside her! her first reflex is to run from her bed! she supports herself against her mirrored wardrobe! Shiv's tall frame progresses towards her and looms before her.. his pallid , finger tips nimbly barely hover over her arm, her hair.. Sharanya pulls back, Vyom ! a scream comes out of her terrified face! she runs to her bed! covers herself under the security of her duvet! Shiv lies beside her.. rolls over on his side and inclines over her.. his hand.. hovers over her sided face.. horn! Sounds! Vyom dashes inside! Shiv turns to look!.. his voice over sounds.. "Once more you return!. Your life is haunted by your death.. hamlet53 22.11.17
Overall for me it was a fine episode, Donal, Vikram, Namik and Amar were effective in their scenes. Looks like the entry to Sharanya's room is barred to all! Vyom seems exhausted after singing and playing for Sharanya who is asleep peacefully ,with Shiv beside her...
