I haven't felt so much for Vijay and Mandira's love story in all this time as much as I did in the past few episodes. Be it their confrontation when Vijay tells her that they can be together no more or Vijay telling the truth to his family members, it was all so nicely done. One of the scenes actually had me in tears :'(
Serials work along the theme of "destiny" a lot and so it happens that two lovers who were so much in love with each other will now end up with respective partners who are more or less strangers to them.
In all this hustle between love and friendship, the one person whose being wronged the most is Mandira. I loved it how she told Vijay that he could not be the one to decide for them both.
That said Vijay's sadness and heartache was also so 😒💔 to watch.
Now coming to Bulbul's marriage it was bewildering to say the least that her father was ready to set his daughter on fire 😲 I did not expect to see such a character assassination of Kishorilal who seemed be a doting father to his daughter (his only child) For a second I couldn't help thinking, aapko marna hai toh mariye uss bechari ko kyon maar rahe hain 😳 But then marriage in our society is put so much on pedestal, what to say to the old man whose been conditioned to think that marriage is the be all and end all of a girl's life. Still to attempt to put one's own child or anyone for that matter, on fire is horrendous to say the least!
If this week was dramatic, next week probably is going to be twice as dramatic! I am excited to see Bulbul becoming the part of Naamdhaari family and also looking forward to see what Mandira does after Vijay gets married to Bulbul.
PS - I cheered for Gayatari when she gave that tight slap to Agstaya! Boy, that was so well deserved!
