In this earliest interview she did with Anupama, she talks about it. She says anurag always like to say to show some raj kapoor aura or something that he spotted her in a coffeeshop, but she wanted to clarity that he didn't spot her in a coffeeshop. She did some 25 auditions and how they use to reject it in the night after taking auditions everyday. And then she found out Chitragana singh was picked for the role because the girl had to be a mother of the 5 year old or something? But, Chitragana's husband asked her to quit films, so at the last minute before they were about to depart for seoul to film, they called her and asked if she could get a passport in one week or something? and that's how she got the role.
