Okay so in this case two scenarios are possible-
Scenario 1
The Doc was really a fraud and a creep who wanted to take advantage of Sharanya(according to the words of the amar mahaan premi sachai ki moorat Vyom Bedi)
Shiv was not sure about the doc's intentions till he reached the park.Maybe he assumed that the Doc really meant to tell Sharanya something.When Shiv became sure of the doc's bad intentions in the park,he killed the doc to protect Sharanya.
And if this is really the case then I am proud of him.
Scenario 2
The Doc was genuine(means Vyom is lying) and he actually wanted to reveal something to Sharanya.If that's the case then Shiv has no reason to kill him.
Which means that in the park there was someone else who carried out the murder.Logic says that it can/cannot be Vyom.Maybe one of the Bedis is behind this.Maybe Vyom himself committed the murder.
Either way we will know soon.
As for the question about why Shiv didn't use his powers to help the doctor??
Seen the movie Ghost starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore?
The Ghost in that movie is just an observer before he develops powers due to his will power.Perhaps Shiv's powers have their own limitations.
