"Rings can be exchanged!" Priest said taking flower petals to shower on the couple as claps echoed in the mansion with flowers' petals shower.
"Congrats both of you!" Suraj said as they approached their father.
"Congratulations!" Chakor joined after passing the ring plate to the priest.
"Do you want any party before ending your happy life?" His brother questioned the younger one.
"End of happy life!" Gaped Chakor "It's the starting of the beautiful happy life for both of them!" She said.
"May be for" and his phrase got cut as the elder of the family blessed the young couple "Always stay happy!"
"Thanks Papa!" Came from both of them.
"Hope you both did not forget about wedding shopping!" He directed his question towards Chakor and Suraj.
"No dad!" He said.
'How can you think that I will leave this beautiful opportunity of being with her Papa?' his heart in a senti mode.
'As if you told him that you have crush on her! Anyways, you are just going there to bug her mind and eat her peace!'
'Not crush! Love! It is!' in an angry mode.
'Oh ohhh! Sorry honey! I forgot!' his mind mimicked ladies voice.
"Charge well your phone and make sure to check the Jeep before taking it out of the parking lot as it's been months you didn't touch that vehicle of yours."
"Sure Papa!" He nodded.
And everyone went to meet and greet their guests until all left to come back tomorrow for the next rituals.
"Di!"
"Hmm!" Turning towards her sister.
"What would be our Maa and Papa would be thinking if they were here with us?"
"If you were all here you would have blessed our children whole heartedly!" KN passing his hand over the old diary.
"And may be we would have witnessed few emotional tears too!"
"But if they were here, you would have been married with me or even before naa(right)?" She questioned.
"And may be your elder daughter would have been my first daughter to illuminate our house Choti!"
"Nothing is in our hand to say this is what going to happen next Imlu! For now all you need to think about is a happy and peaceful sleep!"
"Hmm"
"Good night!"
"Good night Di!"
"Good night!" He said as he put the diary under his pillow and made himself comfortable in it.
"Where is my good night? Why is sleep far away from me?"
'Your are thinking too much!' his mind said.
'What is there to think? I'm dreaming of her!'
'What kind of dream?' with a small layer of mock visible on his way if asking.
'Normal one!' his heart answered innocently.
'Oh I see!'
"1...2...3...4...5...6...ouf sleep is not coming...7...8...9..." And he continues his blabbering until sleep over took him.
"Put this on the table and ask Chakor to bring Imli down for haldi(turmeric ceremony)!" Girija directed a girl as she pulled out the plates and glasses to serve guests.
Fixing her white dupatta on her yellow lehenga, she took the haldi recipient from the guest room where she kept it earlier.
Getting it on her one hand, she opened the door to get collided with a strong body.
"Have you lost your eyes?"
'Yes! On you!' his heart replied.
"Stop screaming! My ears are hurting!" making action of agitating his ears to get to clear.
"Let me help you!" she smiled a sweet smile as she pulled his ear in the name of helping him after shifting the haldi bowl on the other hand.
"Ahhaaa!"
"That served you right for making unwanted comments!" taking her hand for herself.
"You can't even handle a haldi bowl!" he noticed her hand as he cleaned his ear where he got her small gift and showed her his fingers with few traces of haldi on them.
"What was the hurry to dash on the door like that?"
"I can ask the same question!"
"I don't have time to chit chat with you!" as moved to his left to be blocked by him.
"What Suraj? Time is running! Move!"
"Don't move!" he said with his eyes fixed on her left cheek area as his right hand raised at her face level "Kajal" he pronounced as his index and middle fingers rested on the side while his thumb brushed the black spot on her clear face, making her close her eyes as it's close to her eyes.
And the chillness of his other two resting fingers sent shivers in her warm body.
'How romantic!' his heart in excitement.
'How pathetic!' his mind in disinterest.
'You are blind!'
'Who is saying that?'
"Done!"
Her eyes which just now opened got locked with his as something happened at their proximity.
'What is his eyes telling me?' her mind questioned.
'That you are beautiful!' in shyness.
'Are you sure? And please, being shy is not in Chakor's dictionary!'
'I feel so being here, in front of him, his eyes sparkling like a twinkling star. And what else you want me to feel?'
'He is our friend!' her mind warned.
'He already told once that your eyes are beautiful!'
'Yes I remember!'
'Why are you blushing?' heart questioned.
'Who blushing? Me? No way!'
"You are asked to come out!" he said as he entered the room breaking Chakor out of her trace.
"Huh?"
"Girija kaki is calling you with Imli !" the same girl said as she turned on her heels.
"Hmm" she said as she gave a quick glance to the room from where she exited and where he is now before getting towards her room which she is going to share with her sister for few more hours only.
"Why are you laughing?" losing her cool as she made her sister laugh.
"Who is the Rajkumar(Prince) for whom you have applied haldi dear?" a old lady in the group asked as few joined to laugh, as her hands moved to her cheek where she felt the thick paste.
Cleaning it with the back of her hand, her eyes landed on the man who was behind the laughing riot. Giving him a cold look, she went back to her work.
'Why that look?' his mind.
'Well! It's her way of seeing you with love!' his heart in a dreamy way.
Shaking his head, he got on the last steps as he went to see his father.
"How much time it will take?" she questioned him as they made out of the mansion.
"It's our Papa's friend's boutique! 2h from here!"
"Hmmm" she took the information by nodding.
"Why were you looking at me during the haldi?"
"Glaring! I wanted to kill you at that time but now you are spared as I'm calm now!"
"Ohhh! Thanks for gifting my life!" tuning towards her side.
Screeching sound echoed the road in few seconds as the car passed a turning point.
