Back with another VM... 😊 and this time the theme is RED !
The colour of love.. ❤️
We've seen many shades of RiKara in this colour..
EmotionalRiKara, confusedRiKara, AngstyRiKara, HotRiKara, RomanticRikara, CaringRiKara...
And yes this is the 2nd most worn dress I guess..(if anyone's wondering) 😃

So this is from Omkara's P.O.V., i so love that as not only do we get so little of it in the show, but that also gives new meaning to the lyrics - RiKarians often debate which of the two fell for the other first, who fell deeper, who has the more mature feelings, etc., and it's common in those discussions that we begin to reason that a large chunk of why we got the ever present AngryKara is his frustration at himself for how drawn he was to Gauri - and the scenes and song you've chosen convey that. Omkara did not want to name the raw emotion he felt towards Gauri, but his emotion was raw... it was passionate... it was all consuming... it was ishq...
If we had to paint VolcanoKara a colour, I would for sure pick laal - the colour equally of rage, but of passion too.

Ye kaali raat jakad loon,

I wish to clinch this dark night,

The way he closes his fist, as if he wants to grab onto something (here the camera focus shifts to Gauri's figure), but Omkara is restraining himself - this is bang on the right moment for this lyric.

Ye thanda chaand pakad loon...

I wish hold this cold moon...

It really looks as if he's holding her face, so you've shown that Gauri is his moon and he wishes to keep hold of her - *Sigh*... you can become a poet when you're under time constraints and need to kidnap her, but you haven't yet dedicated an ode to her beauty yet Omkara?!

Din raat ke bairi bhed ka

Rukh mod ke main rakh doon...

I wish to change the way there is a difference

between the day and the night...

Going a bit away from what the whole line means, and focusing on specific words - you've used day and night, to show the extent of his wait for her and it fits so perfectly. He waits for her arrival like the day anticipates the night and vice/versa. Also as you've taken scenes from when he was in proper confusion-mode about their relationship, this line about erasing differences is also symbolic of the difficulties still needed to be overcome before they can really see eye-to-eye. The focus on turning their backs on one another - it's so like the conflict that day and night can never really meet, as though they are brought together and pulled apart simultaneously. Omkara wants to stop her leaving, she wants him to stop her leaving - he doesn't want her to go, yet his back is still towards her and she doesn't want to go, but she's still walking away - perfectly showcasing that stage of their realationship.

Raha na main phir apne jaisa...

I have had such an enmity with you,

That I haven't remained like myself anymore...

This so perfectly defines Omkara in his dealings with Gauri so far and I love that you focus on him here because it gives an insight into his mindset. So many people complain that they don't recognise the Omkara he is around Gauri, and these lines capture that conflict he has within himself - you've said with this VM, what people have wrote essays on in this forum. Yes he is forced into a completely different zone around Gauri, but that just shows that she is the first woman who has the power to really unsettle him - this inability to control a situation that leads to him lashing out, is him falling deeper in love. Omkara may have seemed out of character when he was deluded with misunderstandings, but it was all because he consciously changed himself to prevent further hurt - he tried to keep their enmity on track and not give in to their love, so much so that he almost lost his own sense of self i.e. his repetitive use of the 3 g's - not what you would expect out of the mouth of the introverted Artist Sing Oberoi.

*Special mention to that bit with Gauri hiding her tears using her shades - amazing chirraiya, using her ishtyle to conceal her heartbreak. The confusion on Omkara's face placed cleverly after that, shows he is clueless to her pain because he is refusing to intemperate his own.

My name, your name, my name, it's all love...

The continuous back and forth on both their faces to link with the lyrics - that must have been tricky to time right, so kudos to you. What I take from this is that everything that's happened - every touch, every tear, every hurt, every hope - it's all their love. Everything he has done, although he refused to accept it came from his love - no matter if it came as a result of fighting that love, or just momentarily giving in to it.

I love this song and the VM was WOW Fariah - well done!😊 and thanks for the PM.

He has actually given an ode to her beauty once and coincidentally, he did call her the "chaand" 😳
The great break up scene if you remember, though he was angry and all jealous, He couldn't not get attracted to her..
When she asked him of the sudden appearance beautiful lighting and decorations on her entry to the terrace, he says..
"Bhala chaand roshni ke bghair aa sakta Hai kya ?"...
"How can the moon come without its light.."
A small acknowledgement of her beauty.. 😳

Your totally right and I feel in-between all his anger he genuinely meant that, but I meant something where they're having a real date (or whatever the 4Lions equivalent is of a date) and he takes her hand and dedicates something to her genuinely with no hidden agenda.😆 That was a beautiful moment which was surrounded left right and centre by DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA.
