Karan Johar wants Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra to be friends aga

Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, who
set their foot in Bollywood together with
Karan Johar's Student Of The Year in 2012,
have come a long way since their debut and
starred in many hit films.
While during the Student Of The Year days,
Varun and Sidharth seemed inseparable,
over time that was not the case anymore.
According to reports, the former co-stars
are not getting along. And now, the latest
reports suggest that Karan has been trying
to sort things between them.
A source told a leading publication, "Karan is
someone who avoids confrontations in ideal
circumstances. He got Alia and Sid to be
friends again even though they are not a
couple anymore. Now he wants Sid to also
mend fences with Varun.''
Earlier, when Varun was asked about his
equation with Sidharth, he had said, "I
wouldn't say Sidharth is my best friend. But
he is definitely somebody I wish really well
for."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun
Dhawan is busy shooting for his movie,
October. The movie will be a thriller and a
love story and will mark the Bollywood
debut of Banita Sandhu.
In a recent interview, he had said, "I like
different genres, and as an actor; I want to
dabble in every genre. I can't explain how
different a love story October is going to be.
I don't know what genre to put this film in.
As a creative person, it's very unusual and
new. And you hear stories such as this one. I
am excited and thrilled about that."
On the other hand, Sidharth's Ittefaq
released a few days back and the movie is
receiving a good response at the box-office.
The movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha and
Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.
While talking to Pinkvilla, Sidharth spoke
about his upcoming projects and confirmed
being a part of Kargil Martyr Captain Vikram
Batra's biopic. "In the next two months, I
have Aiyaary coming up alongside Manoj
Bajpayee, who is a fabulous actor. Then
there is Vikram Batra's biopic. So, there are
two films and there is another one which
will be announced soon. So I am pretty
excited about the lineup," Sid said.
