I love how rather than just say to Juhi that she hasn't lost him and that they're still friends, Neil first agreed that she has lost him because he knows that deep down she wants him in that way and he made it clear that the only way he'd be any part of her life is as a friend and as a package deal with Avni.
I was just thinking that if this was any other serial they'd be having Neil trying to make Juhi feel better rather than being honest. She was talking about how she lost her parents and then him and the serial logic would have been to have him feel sorry for her and say that she hasn't but no here they had Neil say that yes indeed she has. There was no I'll lie to you or lead you on here.
They didn't need to have Neil say that. They could have had him instead say the rest about friendship as a way to console her and show her that she hasn't lost him completely but no they had him brutally admit that she has lost him completely because he isn't hers and that even as a friend he comes with someone else. I love how they didn't show the hero as so swept away by her emotions that he couldn't be honest and felt like he had to lie to make her feel better. I love how Neil knew the confirmation would hurt her especially since she was already crying over the people she lost but he still said it because he needs her to know.They didn't need to show that but they did and I love that.
