Love Is In The Air: Some of hottest real life couples from television industry took part in a Valentine's Day special event.

Zee TV presents a special programme on Valentine's Day

MUMBAI: For eons, the month of February has been celebrated as the month of romance. Lovers all across the globe celebrate this season as the season of love in the memory of St. Valentine. To commemorate this special season Zee TV presented a gala event, "Aur pyaar ho gaya-A valentine's day special". An event which captured "Love through the ages". The show was a combination of performances – real life couples dancing to old and new love songs and a rendition of soulful melodies by Shailendra Singh and Kunal Ganjawala.

Some of hottest real life couples from television industry including Sai & Shakti Anand; Indraneil & Barkha Bisht; Sharad & Keerti Kelkar; Poonam & Manish Goyal, Manav Gohil & Shweta Kwatra; Hussein & Tina Kuwajerwala, Narayani Shastri & Gaurav Chopra to name a few, performed on a medley of romantic songs through the eras of - Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan.

Ronit Roy and Masnsi Joshi played the prefect host to this romantic evening.The icing on the cake was the finale which saw all our couples come on stage and perform to a medley of marriage themed songs like : Maahi ve, Tainu le ke main jaavanga, Dupatta tera.

The guest list included the crme-de-la crme of the television industry who graced the evening with their better half. Some of the faces to be seen were Achint Kaur, Shubha Khote, Roshni Chopra Rajesh and Vandana Khattar, Sachin Shroff, Aanchal Anand, Rati Pandey and more.

Rakhi Sawant made her presence felt when she walked in donning a white fur coat sans beau Abhishek whereas the contestants from Saregamapa Challenge 2007 like Raja Hasan, Mauli Dave, Junaid Sheikh and Sumedha Karmahe couldn't help but sing along when the legendary Shailendra Singh came on stage to sing "Main Shayar Toh Nahin"

It was indeed an evening filled with fun, frolic and of course romance.
