NM is very active on SNS and has a following. He also promotes himself and the show a lot. Same happens with the PH. They are always out there blowing their own horn.

I used to follow that show and sometimes still do. But I am no longer invested in it, and "content" and storyline wise the show is very poor. It's just got characters that appealed to people and the actors appeal to people. That is the only reason that show is still around.

But NK! That has good content, a story that people can connect with. They try to make the plot make sense and character development is good. Continuity is good. Leads are great! So this show deserves to win "Best show". But it's a Popularity contest. It's "Most Popular". So I guess people who are always on SNS and online fans are supporting are winning. The masses who watch TV dont seem to have a say! I am a foreigner and I suppose my vote is counted, but not the general public without an online presence.

Saw a Tweet today that someone on my TL had retweeted. In it Kangana Ranaut is seen saying "Sab award shows fraud hai...aap loag bhi math deka karo!"

Moral of the story! But AdiZa and NK deserved awards. At least they got into Top 5, so that is something. The Wedding show leads didnt even get nominated! So our Leads have done really well for a show that is relatively new since Leap! IB, Shakti and all those shows are older than NK anyways. So team NK did very well to get in among them beating a lot of competition! It sucks they didnt win, but Zain especially for his portrayal of Neil deserved an award. He has really made Neil come to life. Love you Zainu! For me, you won!
