EPISODE ONE
Hello everyone ... Good Morning. Were you waiting for me to wake up? Sorry if I kept you waiting, I was sleeping. Yesterday night Papa was telling the story of Thumbelina and I heard the whole thing, I like Papa telling me stories, I like his voice ... I was not able to sleep because I kept on thinking about Thumbelina and played with one end of my blanky ... You know I like playing with my blanky its soft, warm and cozy. Oh god ... How much do I have to keep talking ... I feel that I picked my mumma's habit ... I just woke up and I started talking, you know I love to talk ... My name is Nandini Singh Oberoi and everyone calls me Nandu ... My sister gets so irritated because my nickname sounds like that of Papa's ... Mumma calls him Nandi sometimes. I feel so happy about it but my sister scratched my cheek and pulled my ears when I told her about it. I had to calm her down or else she decided to go on a hunger strike, I told her that she can share my blanky with me as I cannot give her my name. She was fine with it ... Well and good for me.
See again I talked so much ... I was telling you about how I slept and my sister is still sleeping. She can sleep for some more time ... I am the elder one and so i woke up early.Her name is Shambhavi Singh Oberoi. We look like each other and even wear the same clothes. We came to this different place and met our Mumma Papa on the same day. Everyone calls her Shambu. Both me and my sister are laying on the bed surrounded by a boundary of pillows because nowadays we have started rolling in our sleep. I feel I slept a little more today but everyone in our house says babies can sleep as much as they want and we are babies.
'Aah'. That hurt me. My little sister has got this new habit of kicking in sleep. She copied me when I started rolling but I don't want to copy her, I don't want to kick.
Where are Mumma Papa? Maybe they have gone with Adya Didu. Its been four days that she goes away before I wake up and returns during lunchtime. I don't like it. I miss her. She was so happy when Papa got her new clothes, new shoes, new bag, new bottle but then she went away the next day, Me and Shambu cried for so long thinking that she has gone far away from us but then she returned ... She was not saying anything but I knew she was not happy even she had cried just like us, even she missed us a lot. I felt so angry seeing her sad. Even mumma was very sad ... The first day when she had gone. Shambu has decided that she will never go away from Mumma or Papa even when they get her new and nice things and I support her. We will never go out of the house without papa ... We don't like anything without him. We will pull his hair if he asks us to do so but why will he tell us to go away and why does he let Adya Didu go out of the house alone ... He knows mumma gets sad and none of us can see momma sad.
"Uuyi" ... There he is standing in front of his cupboard ... Can he just pick up any shirt instead of being choosy? He is going to catch half body cold if he does not wear his shirt properly. Hey wait where is Momma? Did she go away with Adya Didu ... No! I will roll down the bed if Momma is not in the house! OKAY ... I heard her voice, she is giggling, she is happy but where is she? Her voice is close to that of Papa's but I am not able to see her ... Is she there inside the cupboard? Is Papa trying to keep her inside the cupboard? Why will he do that? I know he covers her totally when she sits on the couch or the bed but why is he hiding her now? Is he playing with her Like Ru Chachu plays with us, FINE! Let them play time for my little one to wake up. Its morning its sunshine and she loves sunshine, even the color of it. I am finally making all possible noises so that the drowsy head wakes up but why are Momma Papa silent now? Why is he not talking? She is she not giggling?
And this reminds me of how I have to talk to Ru Chachu about letting me work out in his room ... He makes us do some baby exercises with our hands and legs but I seriously need to lose some weight ... I am more than double the weight with which I was born ... I have soft cheeks and a small ball like belly ... I know I am cute, everyone keeps telling me that but my favorite frock does not fit me anymore and so I will tell Ru Chachu to help me ... He will help me, he always listens to both of us and sings and dances for us. I will ask Shambhu if she is interested and I know she will come with me ... She always comes wherever I go. I actually feel good because we stay together ... Not like Adya Didu who had to live as the only baby of Mumma Papa.
Ru Chachu even gave us a new name - O BEHNAS. He always says its Aadi, Shivi, Nandu and Shambu ... I really like it when he takes all our names together. But I have to ask him that what is the meaning of O BEHNAS?
Shambu is rubbing her eyes right now. Good that she is not crying right now ... She is yawning and I know she wants to sleep some more but we will go to our garden with Mumma Papa and watch butterflies, I like seeing butterflies.
Oh! I have to tell you about Shivi Di. I will tell you after some time ... Let me and Shambu go to the garden then we will bathe and get ready ... Today we will wear the frock which mumma made for us. It has small, soft, round things stuck on it.
