October 1, 2017, Star Plus pulled out of Canada at the most intruiging part of the storyline and forced HotStar on us. HotStar had no English subtitles and after much complaints I am happy to share that the subtitles are now on HotStar on this and a few other shows effective Nov 1.

Thank you to everyone for the English updates and comments! This helped folks like myself to follow along and enjoy the show! Much appreciation to all of you!👏

I noticed that last night and I was shocked but I noticed it was only from Nov 1, hopefully they can sub older episodes too. I'm just glad they took fans requests seriously because in Canada we have no other option than to watch on Hotstar

What is the URL for hotstar in Canada? Want to try and see if I can use it. I am in US and hotstar here doesn't upload episodes until the actual US air time which is no fun. I have to rely on online uploadeders to watch every day

Its the same for Canadian fans you have to wait until US time for the episode to be uploaded on their app and website.

Hi there, HotStar in restricted to specific countries. For example even thought I am a subscriber in Canada I cannot access my subscription in the USA and vice versa! Seems weird but it is what it is!

So you cannot access the Canada version outside of Canada.

In terms of the timing of the episodes, it is usually after 11pm that I can access it and I noted that I have to restart it a few times before the subtitles are available.

I have provided this feed back about the subtitles issue to HotStar and was advised that they are working on an update. So be sure to update when the new versions cone out.

I actually find their Customer Service very friendly and they respond very quickly to emails via Messenger.
