I love how your Rudra recognises that he loves paro, unhesitatingly tells her so as often as possible and is determined not to lose her. I think She feels as if she is not worthy of him which is why she gave him up without a fight to mohini scheming. Otherwise she is a strong, focused and courageous girl who is also stubborn to a fault.

Rudra clearly is working to a plan and won't marry the beautiful doctor varsha. His heart and commitment only belong to his village belle Paro. He doesn't care about how educated or not she is. Tho I wish the lovely varsha well.

You have quite a complex plot going on which you're bringing together so well.

Rudra was considerate to anticipate that Paro will feel embarrassed the morning after.

It's sweet of him to have brought her a lovely new outfit.

Then he goes off on a mission, his absence understandably makes Paro feel insecure.

The Sumer shabti angle is a good addition too.

Please don't feel down or disheartened by lack of likes or comments, I think it's important to remember quality is better than quantity as its now only the real and die-hard lifelong parud fans who are still on the forum. So it may not be many of us, but I'm sure we all truly appreciate your ongoing efforts to make us happy. As well as the fact that you have not left this FF incomplete like much of the fiction on the forum even from the time the serial was originally running.

Chapter 37

At BSD, Aman got a call from a soldier who reported him about Parvati's rescue & Rudra take her to hospital. All of them are waiting for them at hospital entrance. V.K asks Aman, did the information is right? Aman says sir, I think, they are stuck in somewhere because of heavy rain. V.K disappoints by his reply and angrily asks is he doesn't have his phone or walkie talkie. Aman says sir, Rudra sir's phone is not reachable, and I don't know what happen to walkie talkie. V.K says it's almost morning, so I think we don't want to waste any further time, search them.

At hut, Rudra wakes up next to warm & soft body, he pulled her closer with his arms around his wife. He cares her hair and kissed her forehead. She sighed in her sleep. He looked at her beautiful childlike face and thought how beautiful she is, last night memories are flashed in front of his eyes and his breathed her name "Parooo and facing at hut top and closed his eyes. She woke up feeling something was different, as her mind became alert, realization dawn her that she was naked, completely, in his arms on top of him, he is also in same state of undress, she snuggle. He saw her eyes which was tightly closed. She try to get up by crossing her hand on her chest. He holds her by her waist and makes her lay on him and asks her to open her eyes. She slowly opened her eyes. He says Paro, I'm sorry, last night, I... she put her finger on his lips & says I know Major Saab, I remember what happened last night, you doesn't have other choice, I couldn't able to stop you too. He kissed her forehead and says I love you, Paro.

Few minutes later, Paro dressed up and come to Rudra who is waiting for her, near at jeep. She misses her balance because of her weakness, he holds her by her waist, their eyes are locked for few seconds and he says lets go. She says Major saab, I missed my payal. They entered into the hut again, Rudra searched her anklet, and she says Major Saab, he hmmed by searching it, she says don't punish me, Major Saab. He turns to her and comes in front of her and asks what? She says I can't able to attend your marriage. Realization hits him, that tomorrow his marriage with Varsha, he holds her by her arms and says you promised me, Paro, how you can break it. She says that's why I'm asking you. His anger rose up, he thought that she is really stupid. She says please, Major Saab, her eyes are filled with tears. He hold on her arms tighten, she feels his anger. He says Paro, don't run away from me, because at mukurth, I need Mangalsutra to tie around Varsha's neck. Paro is confused. He saw her confused expression, he says I need my Mangalsutra which is now in your neck. She was shell-shocked, her hands automatically holds her Mangalsutra tightly, tears rolled down to her cheek. Rudra wipes it and says I'll untie it from your neck tomorrow and I'll marry Varsha. She felt shock waves her attacking her again by his words. He says so, I need your presence in my marriage, Paro. She saw his eyes to find the truth behind his sentence but she could only saw anger in his eyes, nothing more than that. She faints in his arms. He checks her pulse and lifts her in his arms, they left.

At hospital, Rudra hits break harder in front of hospital and came out of jeep. Aman rushed to him. Rudra lifts Paro in his arms. Aman asks sir, what happen to you. He says nothing Aman, we are stuck in mid of desert because of rain, and my phone & walkie talkie is not worked. They entered into hospital. V.K asks what happen to Parvati. Rudra says nothing sir, she is fine. V.K says but we got information that Parvati is unconscious and she... Rudra cut him by saying my wife is fine sir and makes her lay in hospital bed, Nurse asks her name. V.K says Parvati. Rudra says Parvati Rudra Pradap Ranawat. Aman saw his courage and felt happy. Few minutes later, doctor came out of Parvati's ward and inform them that she is perfectly fine. Rudra smiles and says sir, shall I leave now. V.K says Rudra, Parvati needs you. He says no sir, she need some time to think about her decision, I called Shatabdi who is on her way to hospital, and she will take care of her and discharger her. V.K nods at him when Geethanjali rushed to hospital. He says She is about to go to Parvati, V.K stops and says you're in Mumbai now. She says but my daughter needs me now. Shatabdi come there, V.K says go to Parvati & take care. She nods. She come to Parvati who is still unconscious and sits near at her. V.K & Mrs.V.K saw Parvati through glass window of her ward. Aman says sir, Tejawat is in next ward, and he is still unconscious. Rudra nods. He says sir, you want to meet him. Rudra says yes, I want to meet her. He questioningly says sir. Rudra says I want to meet Mitra & left.

At BSD control room, Mitra is waiting for PaRud. Rudra rushed inside with Aman. Mitra gets up and asks where Parvati Bhabisa is. He comes Mitra and stands in front of her and asks who you are. She was taken aback. Aman says sir, her files contains every details anout her. Rudra saw her eyes and says I need answer now, who are you? How did you know about Tejawat? How did you know about his satellite phone & his GPS watch? He holds her arm and shouts how? She holds his hand and cries. He continued that where are from? Are you teacher or something else? How operates this tracing machines & computer, I know you're not at all maths teacher. He shakes her. Aman says sir, leav... he cuts him by saying get out, Aman. Aman says sir, I... He repeats his words. Aman left. Rudra asks who you are. She says I'm Mitra. He says full name, she says Mitra Ranawat, Computer analyst. His hold on her shoulder loosen. Mitra told him everything about herself & her parents. Rudra is shocked to core.

At Tejawat haveli, Mala calls Mitra and says today is Rudra's sangeet function, I'm going to meet him tonight. Mitra says Maasa, I want to meet my brother. Mala says you're in Singapore, than how could this possible to see Rudra today. Mitra says turn back, Maasa. Mala turns and surprised to see Mitra with her bags. Mitra hugs her & says now let's go, Maasa. She asks why are came here. Mitra says Maasa, my studies got over so I came back to mother land and holds her hand & says I want meet my brother, Maasa, come let's go. Mala says I too want to see him but he is still angry on me, he didn't know about you till now. Mitra says Maasa, time can change everything, don't worry Maa, he'll accept you & me too. Mala smiles & says tonight I'll attend his sangeet & tomorrow, we'll attend his marriage, is it ok for you. Mitra makes her face & says ok Maa, but now I need something to eat.

Same night, Tejawat got to know about Mala's son detail who is none other than Rudra. Next day morning, Mitra gets blessing of Tejawat & give him a gift box. He thanked her & she asks him to open it. Tejawat is happy to see brand new watch. Mitra says thank you for being with me & my mother, he pats her head & thought Rudra's family is here with me & he is trying to marry that Parvati who is the only one soul witness of cross border wedding crime, now the play is going to be more interesting. Mitra makes him wear the watch. Few minutes later, Mitra saw Chandrika who is cleaning the hall of Tejawat haveli & hugs her & asks about Parvati & Bindi. Chandrika cried & told everything about Parvati's marriage & BSD's encounter & Bindi's death. Mitra felt something fishy in this so she thinks about it , she come to Mala to asks about it but she is really happy to packing gifts for Bhabisa & Bhayya, so she left her & she used her Laptop to trace Tejawat's calls. She over hears his talks with Beema. She got to know they are planning to kill Rudra at Mela that too before marriage. She asks worker in haveli where is Tejawat, they informed her that he left to mela at morning itself. She came back to her laptop which is beeping because Tejawat received call from Mohini, he says he is in mela within few minutes, and you can see Rudra's death body. Mitra is shocked & calls BSD to inform about it, Aman got this information from BSD, he informed it to Rudra who isn't bother about it. Mitra waits at haveli to know what happen & she packed her cloths, Mala come to her and asks what you are doing. She says Maasa, get ready, we need to move from here. Mala says no Mitra, we are going to attend Rudra's marriage. Mitra opens her mouth to say something but Tejawat calls Mala, She goes to his room, he makes her unconscious, Mitra saw his real face & rushed to Chandrika who is worker at hall, she gave her a Paper & old set of phone & asks her to give it to BSD & makes her to get out of haveli as soon as possible (Rudra found this paper & phone in raksha(Chapter 25)). Tejawat lifts Mala & put her in car. Mitra rushed to her with a small bag on her hand but someone holds her from backside & makes her unconscious by using kerchief dipped in chloroform.

In lorry, Mitra wakes up, her hands are tied and mouth is plastered. She try to free herself & she found her handbag, she opened it & take out a small knife & cuts her knot & listens some persons talking in front seat of lorry. They says boss ordered to sell her at prostitution center but before that I need to be with her for this night. Other person says then what about me. Mitra is shocked, she come to open end of lorry at backside & says Maasa, I'm sorry, I don't want to die but my fate made me do this, she is about to jump but the lorry slowdown in middle of desert. She slowly come out of it & runs towards desert but they found her when she is rushed to desert, they followed her, she runs as much as possible, that time only Aman rescued her from that goons who took her bag & runs. She says that hand bag contains a clip which had all details about Tejawat's illegal business & his partners.

Aman knocked the door of control room, he says sir, Parvati want to see Mitra. Rudra didn't reply. Aman holds Mitra's hand & drags her out with him. Mitra wipes her tears & says I want to talk to Bhayya, I'll meet Bhabisa, few minutes later. She left him & runs to control room where Rudra is thinking about his childhood bitterness & his mother. Aman thought Mitra, it's not right time to face Rudra sir. Mitra comes to him & kneel down in front of Rudra who is sitting on chair & thinking about something. She says Bhayya. Rudra stands up & left crying Mitra, alone.

At BSD hospital, a soldier enquires Parvati about her kidnapping details. She told them everything happened at that old factory and says Tejawat is planning to kill Mala & Mitra too. Parvati is tensed and says I want to see Mitra. Shatabdi come to her side & says I'll call her, don't get worry, she is fine, take rest, everything will be alright. Parvati holds her hand & says she is in trouble, I know, Tejawat is not good, he is criminal. Shatabid makes her lay down on bed & says take rest Parvati. Parvati closes her eyes because of sleeping medicine. Mitra come to Parvati's ward where Parvati is sleeping & sits beside her, hold her hand in hers with her tear filled eyes & says I'm not my mom's first daughter, it's you Bhabisa, she always told me about you, I saw your picture in her cupboard, Bhabisa come back soon. Shatabdi pats her shoulder & says she is fine, don't worry, we'll go home after she wake up. Mitra nods at her.

At haveli, Rudra opened Dilsher's room, he shouts that she came back to us, she is doing new drama, this time, she is with her daughter. He sits near at him and says don't worry Bhabusa, this time, I'll throw her out of our life forever. He holds Dilsher's hand & tensely says don't worry Bhabusa, she & her daughter'll not come in our life, they destroyed our life. He says I'll not allow them. Danveer says you have to allow them, you have to accept them. Rudra's anger rose up & says enough Kakusa. Danveer says you have rights to know the hidden truth behind Bhabisa & Mitra, here this papers will show you truth behind them. Rudra says the paper which was someone's pregnancy test result. He asks what are trying to say Kakusa. He says Beta, look at the date, it's exactly one week before your birthday date, and your mother is pregnant, when she left haveli. Dilsher listens everything, his hands are shaking harder, Rudra saw his shaking hands & holds his hand & says don't worry Bhabusa, they won't come here, I will not allow them. Danveer says I found this paper in my brother's room. Rudra asks so what? Danveer says Bhaisa, received this report from postal after Bhabisa left haveli, he keep it safe till now. Rudra says it's fake Kakisa. Mitra says I'm ready to prove myself Bhayya. Both of them turns to door of the room where Mitra is standing with Parvati. She says I'm ready for DNA test. Rudra stands up & says ok, prove yourself & then come here, now get out from her. She says I can't. Rudra holds her arm & drags her with him. She winced in pain, Danveer & Parvati are try to stop him but he didn't hear them. Mitra try to remove his hand & finally she jerks her hand so speedily so that Rudra's hold loosen. She says I won't, this is my home, and I can't. Rudra opens his mouth to speak but Parvati comes in between & says Major Saab, please, don't get anger, just clam down. Everyone in haveli are started gathering in hall. Varsha is shocked to see angry Rudra with Parvati who is pacifying him. Parvati holds his hand & says stay clam Major Saab, please, she is your sister only. Rudra holds her hand tightly & says no Paro, she is not, she is not.., everything is a lie., don't trust her, Paro. Varsha witnessed everything, confused Varsha thought is Rudra in love with Parvati? Her lips says no, it's not possible, if he is in love with Parvati, then how he will accept this marriage. Parvati says just give her time, Major Saab, if she didn't prove, Mitra cuts her & says I'll prove Bhabisa. Rudra says get out. Mohini asks what's happening. Danveer says Mitra is Dilsher & Mala's daughter. Mohini is shocked to her core, she is the only one person who know about her sister's pregnancy at that time & thought that this meaning Mala is still alive, how could this possible. Rudra distracted her thought by says no, she is not my sister. Samrat & Maithili are shocked. Shatabdi softly asks to Sumer who is really cool & eating apple, are you deaf? He says I'm not Sabi, I know everything last night itself. She asks how many secrets are lying in this haveli? Sumer says everything is out expect Taaisa's truth, if it is out, you will face my angry brother. She says go & help Mitra. He nods & says Bhayya, we'll talk about it later, don't get anger & holds Rudra's hand & take him to his room. All are left hall one by one, Parvati come to Mitra & take her to Sunheri's room. Varsha & Mohini is still there but in their own world. Varsha says I'll come later & left.

Mohini thought about what happen nineteen years ago. At that night when Dilsher throw Mala out of haveli. Mohini come to her & says Mala, come let's go in. Mala says no jeeja, I can't, I'll stay in my parents' house, I'll leave from here but before that I want to see my son & I want to share good news with him & cries hard. Mohini is surprised to hear good news & asks what that Mala was. Mala says she is four month pregnant. Mohini says I'll tell this to Devarjisa, he'll accept you without any doubt Mala, she stressed her last words. Mala is afraid to share this news with Dilsher so she asks her to help her to meet her son. Mohini says Rudra is sleeping in his room, you can meet him through his room window from back side. Mala come to his room window & calls him. Mohini come to Dilsher & says I saw your wife in Rudra's room. Drunken Dilsher gets anger & throws glass away & rushed to Rudra's room. He saw Mala who is calling Rudra, he opened Rudra's room door & come and sits near at sleeping Rudra and he cares his hair & says no one will separate you & me, my son, sleep well. Mala hides herself & says stay happy my son, I'm leaving you, but I know one day I'll come back to you, that time my husband'll accept me as his wife & cries hard. Mohini comes to her with Milk & money, she says drink it Mala, did you see Rudra? Mala says no jeeja. Mohini insists her to drink milk for her unborn sake & She smirks when she saw Mala drinking milk and says everything will be alright Mala, stay at your parents' home, Deverjisa will realize his mistake one day that day he'll come to you. Mala nods. Mohini give some money to her & says take care Mala. Mala left. Mohini says good bye Mala, you drink a glass full of poison, oh ho, sorry good bye to mother & unborn child, you have only 48 hours, so run as much as fast, Mala, not only this slow poison, your parents will also kill you, so this time gap is enough for you, go fast (Chapter 29- how Mala end up in Tejawat's servent).

Shatabdi screamed on her phone. Sumer come to her & says just relax, well arrange everything within an hour. She says tomorrow morning is haldi function, but here we still decorating this hall only, we need to decorate Mandap also. He says ok ok cool, we have full night to do, saying this he smirks at her. She says han, Sumer we have full night, I'll go to home & you stay at madap & do all work. Sumer smiles faded. She giggled at him.

At dining table, only Danveer's family is sitting for dinner, everyone had silent dinner. Danveer is in deep thought & asks Maithili that where is Mitra & Rudra. She says they are in their room, I calls them to have dinner but they denied. Mohini says happy, I don't want that ill family in this dinner hall & this haveli. Danveer stand up & angrily glare at Mohini & left. Maithili says Bhabusa, you not yet eat.. He says enough beti. All are stayed like statue watching Danveer leaving. Mohini says eat my children, it's our last night together with Sunheri as my daughter. Sumer left in half followed by Samrat. Only Sunheri & Mohini is there. Sunheri felt bad & says Bhabisa, bring it in my room & left. Mohini finished her dinner & says don't waste your time with that girl, eat & sleep well tomorrow is your wedding day, remember it. Sunheri nods.

At Rudra's room, Rudra is sitting in his bed, his head resting in headboard his mind is occupied with mix emotions like confusion, tension, anger, surprise, shock so many. He is thinking about everything happened today. Paro come to him with plate. He says Paro, go from her, I don't want to... she cuts him by says Major Saab, you need to share your pain, I'm here for you, I promised that I'll there for you when you need me. He sadly smiles at her. She placed the plate at table & stand in front of him. He says Paro, now I don't want to... she hugs him, his head resting on her chest & she cares his back & says don't worry Major Saab, I'm here with you, if you want to cry, then do it. He hugged her by her waist & cries. She holds him like a child. Few minutes later, She says Major Saab, don't worry, if the test report says that she is not you sis... he says no, Paro, she is my sister only, I can feel it at beginning itself. He breaks hug & says now, did you see her anger, when I try to drag her out, I saw the same anger in Ranawat's eyes, and he always told that I'm also like him, showing anger towards others. She cares his cheek & says it's time to heel your pain, Major Saab, you're going to get everything as per your wish. He says no Paro, I won't get anything, I hate her & her daughter but now she is with me, but I need you, you give up me to as it is. Her eyes are filled with tear & take plate & says eat now, Major Saab. He says no need. She feeds him. He saw her eyes which was full of love for him, he eat few bite & feed her with his own hand. After dinner, she asks him to sleep, he holds her & makes her sit in bed & placed his head on her lap. She cares his hair, he holds her one hand in his. They fallen asleep.

Mid of night, Mitra come to Rudra & saw him sleeping in Parvati's lap, felt happy & come to his side. She saw Rakhi in his hand & softly says bhaiya, be happy & marry my Parvati Bhabisa, I won't disturb your life, I'm leaving now, be happy, I love you, Bhaiya. Mitra wipes her tears & turns to go. Parvati says Mitra. She stops in her track. Parvati slowly shifts Rudra's head into pillow. He says Paro & holds her hand. She says I'm here with you, Major Saab & blows air on his face, his hold on her hand loosen. She come to Mitra who is about to say something but Paro signs her to stop & whispers he didn't sleep last two days & drags her out. Parvati says don't leave, he accepted you as his sister, but his anger is stopping him to come to you, he'll come to you as your brother & accept you as his sister. Mitra says but how. She says everything is possible, Mitra. Mitra's phone rings, Parvati asks who is that. She says Aman who is waiting outside of haveli. Parvati & Mitra come to porch of haveli. Aman asks what happen to you Mitra, is everything fine? Parvati says everything is fine but not your love story & giggles. Aman says then why she called me at this time. Parvati says I think she want to meet you, she is in confusion that's why she didn't take any decision about your love. Mitra is in silent mood. Aman says I'm clear about my decision, I'll not marry Sunheri. Parvati says I know bhaiya, you're really mad about Mitra, but what about her. Mitra asks what about you Bhabisa? Parvati slowly walks back & runs from there to her room. Mitra breaks down and cries & says sorry Bhabisa. Aman kneel down & hugs her. Some one behind the pillar, witnessed everything who rushed to Parvati's room.

At Parvati's room, Rathna is actively playing with her dolls on her bed. Parvati is watching her. Parvati's thoughts are somewhere. She recalls Rudra's & Mitra's word. "I need my mangalsutra, I'll untie it from your neck, "she'll snatch a husband from wife, echoed in her mind. She closed her ears with her hand & says no, I'm not like that, I love Major Saab. She wipes her tears & take Rathna in her arm & come out of her room. Rudra is hiding behind pillar & saw her moving towards his room. He jumped into his room through garden window & pretending like sleep when she opened his room door. She come near to him & makes Rathna sit on bed, she is playing with her doll. She sits & lean in headboard & calls him by his name "Rudra, he didn't respond so she continued to talk to him, I know your sleeping because of last two days are hell for we both, but today your sleeping peacefully, but I didn't get that peace, Rudra. She wipes her tear, that are flowed from her eyes freely & she holds her Mangalsutra tightly. Her voice broken says I won't allow you to remove my Mangalsutra, Major Saab, I will not snatch you from your wife, who am I to you? I really don't know, I promised Kakisa for Sunheri's good life but here Aman Bhayya won't marry Sunheri for any cost, I can't able to see you marrying Varsha, I was unable to stop this marriage because I promised Varsha too. She sobs & says I really don't know why I didn't stop you that night, I gave myself to you, but here I'm searching a name for our relationship, is this true relation or else, she sobs bitterly, Rudra didn't take it anymore, so he turns in sleep to face her. She stops her sobs & wipes her tears and says Major Saab, I'll not leave from her, please don't remove my mangalsutra, now my only hope is it, I'm breathing because of this, if you removed it, I'll die in your feet itself. HALDI FUNCTION

Everyone in heavli, getting ready for haldi function. Rudra is still sleeping with his wife. She hears noise & wakes up. Rudra is hugging her by her bare waist. She try to move but his hands started caressing her bare skin. She stopped moving & calls him by his name. He murmurs Major Saab, not Rudra. She says Major saab, he hmmed. She says I want to go. He wakes up & sits. She direct her eyes on his hand which is still holding her. He says I don't want to leave you. She says we are getting late, your haldi function today. He says oh, our haldi function, ok then go & he take off his hand. She says not ours, it's yours. He says ok ok ours. She makes her face & take Rathna and left his room. He smirks.

At hall, Rudra & Sunheri's chair are placed in centre of haveli. Sunheri's haldi is already started, all are waiting for Rudra who is getting ready. Maithili noticed some change in Sunheri's face, she asked her so many time but she didn't answer. Maithili thought that maybe she is worrying for leaving them all. Rudra come to hall, Paro is watching him. He smiles at her. Danveer applied haldi on Rudra's face & others are done it one by one. It's Paro's turn to apply haldi on his face, she slowly applied it on his hand & face without seeing his eyes. He whispers it's our haldi Paro, she gets up & walked to kitchen. They are standing under shower, Rudra is lovingly wiping haldi on her cheek, and she shyly smiles at him. He asks her to wipe his cheek, she lifts her shaking hand & try to touch his cheek, but she couldn't because his hands are caressing her waist softly. He says Parooo. She hmmed. He holds her hand & bring it to his cheek & says wipe it now, she slowly wipes his cheek. He kissed her forehead, she closed her eyes to feel his lips, and he trailed down to her eyes, nose and cheek. She breathe his name, he smirks. He lifts her in his arms & come out of bathroom. She is in his arm, their eyes are locked. He put her leg on floor & holds her face in his palm. His eyes are fixed on her lips which was quivered & parted for him. She closed her eyes & he placed his lips on hers. She hold on him as he consumed her mouth, tasting her, she tremble when he kissed her vigorously, but she didn't push him away. His hand moved to her duppatta and slowly slid it from her shoulder. Maithili opened the door with loud thud & calls Parvati, she stop on her track. He turns to saw who is that & shocked to see Maithili. Parvati hides behind him, she is fully wet & her duppatta is under her feet. She crossed her hand on her chest. Maithili says sorry, i... Parvati adjusted her duppatta. Rudra says Bhabisa, nothing, come in, we are just talking, and he smirks & walked to door. He stops next to Maithili & says perfect timing Bhabisa. She smile at him. Parvati is stunned to see Maithili who is now standing in front of her. Maithili says Parvati, I can understand your problem, Devarjisa isn't yours anymore, and he is going to marry within few hours. Tears rolled down her cheek. She stops & says I did mistake at that night, I didn't stop him but... she sobs bitterly. She couldn't continue anything further so that she started chanting goodness name endlessly. Few hours later, her chanting affects Dilsher who is hands are shivering & leg is started moving, God listens her prayer & answering her prayer by waking Dilsher up.
