I think Rohini's past something awful has happend in Meerut and thats why they allmoved to Mumbai and they are scare that someone might come to know they are in Mumbai and trouble them.. So thats why they also tell the taxi driver they are from Illabad.. Maybe if he is from Meerut and he know abt omethin happened to some girl he might link with her..So the past might haut her so they say they are fromMeerut..

yeah anu, somthing is fishy about meerat ... my be as u said rohini was ditched or was misbehaved with ... thats why she seems very skeptical about all men .....
