Annika had refused to share with Shivaay the reason for her sudden sullen mood on Diwali. There's this feeling that comes when you're away from family during Diwali or Eid, it feels strangely empty and more lonely than usual.
Annika had grown up that way in the orphanage , with some lousy caretakers who couldn't do that little bit to make orphans happy during festive season. No sweets, no fun, no cheer, no family. Just that empty feeling.
(I wish she had said a little on how she tried her best to make it cheerful for Sahil and her, but with a small budget. Would've killed the emotional sucker punch even more. That way, SSO could have made the little boy's Diwali extra special too)

They had a beautiful wedding few weeks ago, where he made sure every rasm was done such a way he could see the beaming smile or happy tears on her face. He made sure he was part of every rasm: chunri, mehndi(), vows, haldi () and of course the most beautifully sentimental wedding ever.
But a small apshagun had upset her, her chand bracelet broke, he promised to fix it before vanishing for 15 days. Now he fixed it and fastened it back onto her hand. Just beautiful.
This new way he teases his angry wife is really cute. Cute long face, angry but still talking to him. Her "Nakhre Noor Jahan" face cracks in the face of his teasing.
He gave a gift, she has hers: handmade laddoos. Hahahah... goodness his face!! Like being made to eat poison! .. which he ate as best as he could I must say . Goodness, one should really taste what they made before serving !! But more gifts came in the form of Sahil, and the cute trio are just so nice to see.
Now he's going to fix Diwali for her. Giving her all that she had missed as a child, and giving her what she wants the most right now: His Love. This way, Diwali will take a new meaning in her life. It will always be the day Shivaay told her he loved her for the first time.
I was sceptical at first, for me that video he made for her was a blockbuster of a loving declaration. But this , I must say is quite beautiful too. Wash away all her loneliness, replace them all with love. I knew the main ishqbaaaz's declaration would be epic.
But wait. He hasn't actually said It! So beware tonight, it's going to be scorching hot! LM at his best is always something to look forward to.
Gauri came back for a sign, that Om had something to say to her. To her, he never came looking for her so this was her giving him yet another chance. Unknowing that he was there right by her side as Dilpreet . Reading a poison letter written by Abhay, she was leaving again for good.
Gauri's dupatta catching fire in her haste to get away from him; and him actually running after her and putting out the fire with his bare hands until it was out.
