Epilogue - Three Years Later!

"See Di, how hard your darling Chote is working in London while I am struggling here with continuous vomiting and headaches... Hey Devi Mayya..." Khushi was very upset with kinds of news about him and them...

"Trouble in Paradise? Mrs. ASR is not seen with ASR for a couple of months now..." Page 3 news post indicating their marriage is in trouble...

"ASR with old flame Lisa in London! Breaking News!" Another newspaper posted...

"Where is Mrs. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada? She has not answered any of our phone calls... Has she left him already?" All kinds of headlines were flashing on many TV channels as well along with ASR's pic with Lisa in London from some party...

"Khushi, calm down... By now you are very well aware how the media works... You know how much Arnav loves you and dotes on you... He was not even ready to go until you forced him... Don't worry, he should be back in an hour..." Anjali was trying best to calm Khushi...

"Leave it Di... He used to love me but not anymore... With the baby on board, I am always sick and tired throwing up and he no longer needs his ugly, dirty wife..." Her hormones and mood swings were not helping either...

"Forget it, I am going to my Amma's house... This is not my house anymore... I hate everything... Oh Devi Mayya, how do I keep feeling so crazy... I am leaving RM right now..." Khushi was adamant...

"Khushi listen, this is very much your house... You know you are the boss at home and nothing is normal if you are not here... This is your house and you will stay here... I will throw Chote out if he has done something wrong, I promise... Let him get punishment if he is wrong... Why will you leave your house? Let Chote come and I will show him..." Anjali took her side, no way will she let Khushi go to her parents' house at late evening especially when she is not feeling well...

"Yes baby, your papa is bad boy... We will punish him when he comes..." Khushi moved her hand on her little bump...

Yes, Khushi is three months pregnant now expecting their first baby... Her pregnancy has been very tough with loads of morning sickness that mostly lasts whole day... She can't eat well and always feels exhausted... Not able to eat her favorite jilebis and pani puris along with hormone changes are making her behave totally erratic and crazy these days...

Only Arnav could handle her but he had to go to London for an important deal, in fact Khushi forced him to go knowing how huge opportunity it was... But now his stay got prolonged for another week and then picture with Lisa out of nowhere while he is travelling back was killing her... She hated such a vile news!

She didn't doubt him but why he has to go and meet that Lisa... What did they decided, no more ex' and then he himself forgot it? So much efforts for no ex's names in our lives! Meeting and hugging that Lisa? Let him come and I will show him... Khushi was so angry...

"HP and OP, come here..." Khushi shouted while Anjali was working hard to calm her down until Arnav comes in any minute...

"Throw Arnavji's clothes and all belongings in the pool..." Khushi ordered...

Anjali did not know whether to laugh at her craziness and even HP, OP did not know how to avoid Khushi's orders... Arnav used to work a lot from home and would handle her mood swings but right now it is getting out of control...

"Didi, we are busy making dinner right now... So we will work on that as soon as we finish dinner..." And they both ran to kitchen before Khushi could open her mouth to say something... Khushi missed Anjali nodding to Prakash brothers or else she would be in trouble...

"Khushi, I will take you to your room... Don't waste your energy like this... Chote will be coming any minute... You can teach him a lesson then for messing up with you... Aman is picking me up today and Nani will be back only next week... Prakash brothers will be back on Monday... So no one will know even if you beat up Chote..." Anjali winked at her to bring back her mood while taking to her to her room...

"Chote, only Devi Mayya can save you today..." Anjali prayed for her brother while smiling...

Just then Arnav walked in...

"How is Khushi doing?" First question he asked his Di...

"Thank god, you came just in time... I can't handle her any more..." Anjali winked at him...

"Thanks Di for calling me at the airport... Don't worry I am back to my darling wife and I will talk to her Thanks Di for being with her and taking care of her last two weeks... I wish I had not listened to her and not gone at all... I hate to see her upset and worried like that when she should only be happy right now... I am not going anywhere until baby is delivered..." Arnav genuinely felt angry at himself...

He had already taken action... Never the less...

"HP and OP, hope everything is ready as I had requested..." Arnav handed over his blazer and laptop bag to Prakash brothers...

"Yes Bhaiya, everything is ready... All we need to do now is throw your clothes and other things in the pool..." HP replied sheepishly...

"What the?" Arnav was clueless as to why would HP even think of throwing his things in the pool...

"Shut up HP... Go and have a break for next two days both of you... Leave the house to Arnav and Khushi without any disturbance... Come back on Monday..." Anjali sent them packing and laughed out loud...

"What happened Di?" Arnav was curious now...

"Your dear wife asked HP and OP to throw all your belongings in the pool... She is hopping mad at you!" Anjali informed him laughing...

"Oh I see... yeah, she has always been crazy and now super crazy..." Arnav smiled back... Only he knew how he has been handling her mood swings these days...

"But she is the love of my life and now gifting me another life... She is feeling low but will bounce back... She is glowing and looks amazing, it's just that I have to keep telling her how gorgeous she looks now that she is pregnant..." Arnav genuinely missed his Khushi...

"Chote, I agree... Go to her, she is waiting..." Anjali called Aman to pick her up... She was missing her husband too... Yes, Anjali married Aman two years ago and Aman adopted Anusha officially... She stays very close by to RM, in the house Arnav and Khushi gifted them as a wedding gift...

Apart from Arnav Anusha is the only one who can calm down Khushi... Khushi and Anusha are inseparable even today... And it makes Arnav jealous and irritated many times...

"So how is my darling wife doing?" Arnav slowly entered their room and hugged Khushi from behind...

"We are not talking to you... In fact as soon as I have some energy, I will pack my stuff and go to my Amma's house... Then you can be the old ASR and be with your girlfriends..." She said with a cry, puppy face...

Arnav could see she looked so exhausted and tired...

"Still the morning sickness and mood swings, baby? See your first trimester is over and you will start feeling better soon... And soon you will be able to eat everything you like..." Arnav tried to pacify her...

"Don't you baby me...? So you want me to feel better soon and go away?" Khushi stepped back...

"Well, I heard completely opposite story... It seems ASR is still head over heels in love with his wife and recently specified life has never been blessed so much... Didn't you see his interview at the airport? Very Interesting, Khushi... With pregnancy, I must say you are never up to date with the news..." He joked and switched on the TV...

"So ASR, you are claiming that your click with Lisa is not true?" One of the reporters asked as soon as he stepped out at the airport...

"No it's true but it's the half-truth... By now British news channel is already showing the correct photo where Raman is also there in the picture with me and Lisa... In fact it was Lisa and Raman's engagement event... AR is already suing the newspapers and TV channels in UK and in India as we speak... For spreading false news and maligning my image and stressing my wife with such vile news..." He replied in no nonsense tone... He was angry as hell...

"Lisa is an old friend and Raman is my senior from Harvard... And I happened to be in London when they were getting engaged... How can I miss to wish them? But media has to spoil their precious moment as well as mess with my personal life... I am not allowing it ever... It's high time you validate your data before you print it... It isn't funny to print anything and create gossip..." He warned the media openly...

"So there is no trouble in your personal life, where is your wife these days then?" Asked one of the reporters arrogantly...

"That's none of your business... But still let me tell you, she is there where she belongs, in our house at Raizada Mansion and of course always in my heart! All I can say is we both are perfectly fine and in fact never been better..." Arnav gave perfect display of affection towards his wife...

"ASR, but we have not seen her with you in a while... She has been missing from action for a long time and even did not attend AR recent Fashion Show... Why? Are you hiding something?" Another reporter asked...

"Oh there is nothing to hide... You will meet her soon... Hopefully she starts feeling much better to continue with her chores... Even I miss her company and hence prefer to work from home..." He replied casually...

"What is she sick? What happened to her?" Couple of reporters asked together...

"Nothing, by the grace of god, we are expecting a baby... And she has had severe morning sickness... But soon she will bounce back... I must say she is glowing and looks even more beautiful... You will see us soon, I promise..." He announced smiling...

"Wow ASR, hearty congratulations... Way to go ASR, Wishing you a wonderful family..." Suddenly all reporters started wishing him...

"Thanks guys but don't you think you created enough mess for me to handle at home? I wish to go back home as soon as possible to my beautiful wife... And again please make sure to validate your news before you print it... We all are human after all with feelings..." He got inside his car and zoomed into the streets of Delhi...

Khushi was shocked... All this must have happened in last one hour when she was angry and switched off TV and her phone... She could see his 20 missed calls since he landed...

"Are you still angry? By the way you look even more beautiful when you are angry... But it's not good for your health baby to be stressed out..." Arnav asked her with all the love...

"Why didn't you inform me about Lisa and Raman's engagement?" Khushi asked him curiously...

"I can inform only if they inform me right? It was spontaneous decision by Raman and he got everyone family, friends and media there... Then he proposed her and they got engaged instantly..." Arnav concluded...

"Enough about others Khushi, how are you and my little angel? Missed you both so much..." He kissed her slowly...

"I am doing ok... Tired though... Sorry Arnav, I don't know how to do things without you around... I am feeling so low..." She put her head on his shoulder...

"Khushi, that's because you are hardly able to eat anything and low on energy... Happens baby but now that I am back, I will make sure you feel fine..." Saying that he picked her up...

"Where are we going?" Khushi asked him wrapping her hands around his neck...

"In the fresh air... You will feel better... He took her to the terrace... HP and OP had already decorated the terrace as per his instructions and dinner was served there...

"Oh wow, when did you do this?" Khushi was amazed...

"When you were busy asking HP and OP to throw my belongings in the pool... Really Khushi? You can do better than that..." He smirked...

"Sorry Arnav, I go so crazy often with my mood swings..." Khushi hid her face in his chest embarrassed.

"It's ok baby, as long as you don't stress out yourself and my baby... Obviously you will still get punished..." He warned her...

"What? No... How can you punish your sweet, beautiful pregnant wife Arnav?" She acted so naive...

"Oh I have no choice... Your punishment is you stay well behaved next two days while I take care of you and love you sweetheart... And first you will eat dinner like a good girl..." Khushi could see all her favorite dishes on the table...

Her favorite canopy with fairy lights was set over a proper bed for her comfort...

"I will... Thank you so much for being there for me and tolerating me..." Khushi hugged him...

"Remember our always together... Always together Khushi for this life and forever..." He kissed her...

"Yes always, always no matter what..." She kissed him back...
