Here Is The Update For 5th February, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Episode starts off with the scene of Purvi lying down on the ground. She had been hit on the head from a flying stone when Rummy had stepped on a spade and the spade had levered up a stone.
All rush to Purvi who has lost consciousness and after the initial disagreements they lift her to the infirmary, leaving behind a dazed Rummy and a bit confused Akrithi. They too run after them in a while.
In the gym Abhimanyu and Gunny have their exercising Routine and are talking of Speed and Cycling. They are mounted on the exercising bicycle.
In the infirmary the cadets are fussing around Purvi and then Doc Shalini arrives with what is happening query. They make way for her.
Rummy in his style explains the accident to Doc Shalini. All watch in an amused manner. Doc Shalini tells Rummy that Major Vaibhavi will have lot to say when she hears about the accident that is if she hears about it.
Later an orderly passes a message to Vidya that there is a call for her and she leaves to attend the call. Akrithi too wants to make a call and seeks directions to a telephone booth and gets three different directions. She walks away on her own.
Scene Shifts to a telephone booth somewhere outdoors. Vidya is inside the booth and talking in mute. Akrithi arrives and opens the door and Vidya is heard saying as yes father, and when Akrithi interrupts to say that she too wants to use the telephone, is in a hurry and cannot wait, Vidya cuts the line ending with her "touching your feet" line.
Next Akrithi is heard talking to a Veeru Dada, advising him to be punctual in his shootings, etc, midway through line goes dead. Vidya is back offering Akrithi with her pre paid card, saying that, probably Akrithi's card must be zero balance. Akriti asks her how would she know and Vidya responds saying that her ears heard Akrithi mention that. They both walk away with Vidya still chattering and Akrithi going deaf.
In the boys dormitory Peter comes out of a shower and sees Rummy lost to the world in his sleep. And Makhan writing a letter. Peter then starts a conversation with Makhan and says that the letter is for his dad, then the talk turns to computers, as Peter pulls out a laptop and a jack for the internet access. In a funny way he prays for a strong signal while Makhan is amused. Peter talks of Makhan's Dad who might be in jail for all he knew. Makhan determinedly gets up and faces Peter and with the firm tone says that He, Peter, Shall Never, Ever Again bring up his / Makhan's Dad in their conversations. Slightly taken aback Peter says yes and picks up a Guitar and says lets forget about tomorrow and think of the present. For tomorrow is the crew cut day.
Next scene is that they, meaning the boy cadets are having their crew cuts. Rummy hands over a photograph of a man and asks the barber to cut his hairs in the style shown. Barber coolly takes the picture only to throw it away.
Gunny in his room lost in his thoughts. There is an album in his hands and he is looking at a picture of a lady.
At this point there is a knock on the door and he opens the door saying Major Sharma, only to find the Major General.
Major General Guar sees the album and inquires after Gunny's Mother, who replies that his mother is much better than before.
Maj Gen Guar says he wants to have a talk with Gunny and continues the talk to say that his son is in the Academy and Gunny should punish him to make him a responsible person, for he had an easy life, and yet to realize the hardness of life. Gunny says he would not like to punish anyone just for the sake of punishment, but he – Gunny - will definitely will correct the mistakes if and when are committed. Major General says that he would like his son to be responsible, not just a soldier but very good soldier, just like him, Gunny. Gunny turns round and asks if that is a compliment and the Major General says yes and leaves after shaking Gunny's hand.
Gunny goes into reflective mood.
