Rikara TS: Emotional confession and bonding between husband and wife

Part 1

This scene takes place after Gauri's outburst and she walks away.

Omkara fall to his feet and reads the scattered pieces of card that Gauri had just torn. he reads it, "dear Omkaraji"..."I love you"..."your wife Gauri"

He cries and screams her name "Gauri". hearing this she turn back to a heart wrenching scene, that brings more tears to her already tear stricken eyes...she stood there frozen at her spot.

Omkara still crying, says "how could I do so? doubt on her? why did I do so? how could I have done so toward the one person in my life who thought me as her saviour?" still blathering some words, he continued to sob.

Gauri's heart shattered more seeing him like this. she had seen his anger, hatred, sadness, and happiness but had never seen him this broken...tears fell from her eyes. she mumbled, "its all because of me, I did this to him. but why is he crying for hurting me, not having trust in me..." slowly she walked towards him.

Om still crying, suddenly felt the warmth of a hand on his left shoulder. he raised his eyes and turned to see who it was. he saw his wife, his Gauri standing there with tears in her eyes looking down at him. he immediately turned away and said "go away from me, don't look at me! I'm such a disgusting man, who blamed his wife of having an affair with her teacher. Go away! Go...I don't deserve any sympathy at all..." saying this he continued to crying more loudy...

Gauri was shocked to hear him say so, but she could not see her Omkaraji broken like this. although she is angry at him for not trusting her, she can't see him like this, so she the one thing she can for him. she kneeled down in front of him and cupped his face with her small hand and looked into his bloodshot red eyes. she said, "bass kijiye Omkaraji, aur nahi..." still holding his face between her both her hand. then, she kissed his forehead and said "aapko hum ese nai deksakthe, rona band kijiye..." he immediately stopped crying and looked at her in astonishment and said "how could you Gauri still console me even after I have done so my terrible things? how could you still look at my disgusting face that always blamed you? how can you Gauri?How?"

Gauri just looked into his eyes and says "mai apse bohot pyaar karta hun Omkaraji, I love you a lot that even if I wanted to hate you I can't, I know you have never accepted me as your wife, but for me no one, no one can be my husband but you. I can't think of my life without you, no matter how many times you chase me, scold me, blame me even of you hit me, you'll still be my Omkaraji, my pati." Om stares at her and says "mai kese tum jaise ladki ko shaq kiya? mai kitna gadda hun...tu jaise bohot achi ladki ko shaq kiya aur aaj tak nai samaj paya...I'm such an idiot that I could not understand you till now."

Gauri looked at Omkara surprised he said such word about himself. after a while she says "don't call my husband idiot. he is such a loving, caring and an understanding person, he was always there for his family, for Anika baujayi. he always bring Shivaay baiya back to his love, he is also a loving son who cares a lot for his mother. he was even read to marry someone he hated all his life to stop his mother from breaking down. and he could do anything for his dadi. he even stayed married to me and did all the ritual she told although he hates me. even though he hated me, he had saved my life many times, he took care of my mother, he even took care of me. he might have hated me but he never neglected me. so, don't tell him as idiot. agar ek aur baar kahana, aapko Bareli Gauri Sharma dekogi...kabbar dar"

Om was shocked by her saying all those despite him doing so many terrible things. he just looked at her and said "mujhe maaf karo Gauri. I know I don't deserve it but hosake toh maaf karo." and hung his head down not being able to look into his eyes.

Gauri raised his head and smiled at him and said " I am very angry with you for blaming for having an affair but I can't stay mad at you, my love for you overcomes it. my love more than any other feelings I have towards you, hate or anger. mai aapko maaf karungi, par ek sharat par, you must not hide anything from me, if there's anything bothering you, you should tell me okay?" she looked at him expectantly. he looked in her eyes and said "I will never hide anything from you ad if I have any doubt I'll tell you first before jumping into any conclusion. also, I will always trust you, no matter what happens or what the situation is." Gauri hugged him, he leaned back and hugged her back.

Omkara released her, then cupped her face and said, "lets go inside, its getting cold. I have lots ask and tell you."

both of them stood up and Om held Gauri's hand in his and walked into the hotel.

Part 2

Omkara and Gauri enters their hotel room. He hold her hand and brings her to sit on the bed and goes to lock the door. Then, he sits beside her and holds her hand in his. Om begins to talk...

"Do you know ? mum and dad used to always fight when I was a small child. both of them will be busy fighting and arguing that they'll forget about me, Rudra and Prinku. Since, I was the eldest of the three of us, I knew what was happening. But Rudra and Prinku had no idea of it. due to the problem between them, Shivaay started to cook so we will not go to sleep hungry."

Gauri looked at Om while he continued to speak.

"when I grew a little bigger, I realised they were fighting because dad had affair with Swetlana. Because of this, mom always stayed depressed and she started to drink. so, this had been continuing until now."

Hearing this, Gauri started thinking..."this is why he don't trust anyone easily"...then she heard Omkara continuing to share his thoughts

"This even caused me to take drugs, because I felt so helpless. I could not do anything for my mum, to get her out of her misery and pain."

Omkara looked up to see Gauri's reaction to this confession of his, relating to his drug habit. but he was shocked to see tears streaming down from her eyes. he immediately cupped her face and asked "why are you crying? you feel that you have loved such a useless person...you hate me..." he then faced down and slowly his hand begin to slip from her face. Gauri spoke grabbing onto his hands that are holding her face "you have faced so much but you hid everything from the world and me with your rough and angry exterior...and I could not see through it. the hurt and pain that you had suppressed inside of yourself."

Omkara stared at Gauri. He was amazed that she thought about his pain and misery, not of him hiding the matter from her. He continued to tell, "How can you think of me than getting angry on me for hiding this matter? How could you Gauri...How?" She cupped his face and told him, "For me Omkaraji, you are the most important thing compared to any small lie or anything else. Even now you thought I had affair with Arjun sir, I was just disappointed in myself that I could not make you believe me. From the moment I saw you, I knew there was something you were hiding behind this hard exterior shell you made for yourself." Omkara was surprised to see her blaming herself for the mistake he did. He then said to her, "Gauri you are not at fault, it is me who is the one who did all the mistake. Not you, the only thing you did was stand by my side throughout all the hardship and suffering for me and my family. I'm very sorry Gauri for all the things I did and said to you."Gauri moved her hands to held his hands and said "Its okay Omkaraji. It was not your fault, the situation was bad and your experience with others made it worst. So, you are not to be blamed at all."

Omakara held her hands tightly in his grip and brought it near his heart and held it there. He said, "When I first saw you, I thought you were very brave to have spoken like that to a man you just met, but I was not myself. So, I behaved badly with you and destroyed your shop. And you retaliated by destroying my car with the same bulldozer. Then, I saw you in Kaali Thakur's house, as his bride. I thought you were same as Swetlana, a home-wrecker. Next, when Kaali's wife burned herself in front of my eyes and said your name, I hated you as I hated Swetlana for destroying my mum's peace. Later, I had to save you from the villager, I still hated you but something made me to save you. So, I ended marrying you, just to save you and left you there. I felt bad leaving you there but after thinking of what had all along. I felt no remorse at all. Then, after many days of leaving Bareli, you came as Chulbul into my house. I had started seeing a true friend in him until I found out it was you. Again another person who I trusted broke my trust. You came back into the house again, and I was forced to accept you as my wife for my family. "

Gauri stared at him and thought, "Omkaraji had suffered a lot. That is why he did not trust me or have faith in me. And I had caused the trust he had in Chulbul to shatter too. But I had to do it to save him from that witch"

Omkara turned to look at Gauri and he saw she was silently staring at the ground. He squeezed her hands and called her name "Gauri, are you hearing me?" "Ji, haan I'm listening, just was lost in my thoughts for a moment. You continue."

"As I was saying just now, I had to accept you as my wife. Then, buamaa came, I had loved her and trusted her as my mother. She seemed like wanting to make me and you close, then the news of your pregnancy. all leading to buamaa's betrayal and vengeance towards me. And in all, this you saved me. So, causing me to be drawn to you, getting habitual to your presence. After that, uniting Shivaay and Anika bhabi, to their marriage. All was going well, till you starting to avoid me after the exhibition. And the final one being you disappearing without telling me anything. I was starting to get all kinds of thoughts, if you have already left as you said or you were angry with me for what happened at the exhibition and many other negative things. The last nail hit me strongly was when I Arjun called and picked up and he said to meet him. All the insecurities I had of not having faith on anyone was back, and I thought you are having an affair with him. So, in my anger, I did the only thing I would, I wanted to take revenge on you for building my trust and then breaking it by cheating behind my back. That was why I did what had done earlier. I know whatever explanation I give will not justify what I had done to you, but still if can, please forgive me. After seeing you tearing the card you confess your feeling and leaving me, I felt like someone had pulled my heart out and sucked all the air from my lungs. Seeing you leave, I felt as if I was just a living corpse. U'm very sorry Gauri for all the stupid things I had done to you in the past." After he had finished confessing everything, he felt her hands on his cheek, wiping away his tears that he himself did not know was pouring. And then she stared into his eyes, cupping his face and said "I forgive you Omkaraji, and as I said earlier, it was not your fault. The situation was to be blamed" while saying this she kissed both his eyes one by one. She then proceeds to kiss both his cheeks. She looks at him blushing and lowering her head to look at his lips and then back into his eyes. Indirectly conveying to kiss her. She moved closer to him, leaving less than an inch gap between both their lips. He does the same and cover the distance joining their lips into a passionate kiss. First a little hesitant, but quickly recovering from it, she responded passionately to the kiss. Soon, both were lost in the kiss until both moved apart gasping for air.
