Former best buddies Natassha and Ektaa Kapoor's fallout is legendary by now. Natassha though has an explanation for it. "Media had highlighted more about my tiff with Aftab. But it was not Aftab actually. It was a little with Ektaa," she tells us when we check with her.
But we are told that Ektaa and Natassha are "great friends"? "Which is what caused the rift, you see. I was shuffling a lot between the Balaji TV serial Kavyanjali and Koi Aap Sa. It was increasingly getting tiring and irritating for me.
I complained this to Ektaa. She said that I am doing this because she is a friend. But my explanation to her was that because she is a friend, she was putting additional work-load on me. This is what caused a tiff," says Natassha.
So what's the news now? Is it over? "Yes, it is. I enjoy working in Balaji. And I don't think that I would be moving out of their camp in the near future," Natassha tells us. And what about Aftab? "Yes, I had a little tiff with him as well. But nothing major," she adds.
What is the difference then between acting in films and TV serials? "Frankly there is not much of a difference for an actor. But in films, you shoot one scene in a day. In TV, it is like 16 scenes a day," feels Natassha.
As of now, the lady will have a comedy release next year with Arshad Warsi and Rajpal Yadav. "Plus I am continuing my work in the South. I am doing a Kannada film now," says Natassha, who has done a number of films in Tamil and Telugu as well.
How does it feel to work in the south? "Film industry in South is more professional. Bollywood is more laid-back," she tells us. Fond of watching films, Natassha says that she will not say a no-no to TV even if she does big-time roles in Bollywood. "I will continue with both. There is more visibility that way," concludes Natassha
