" Answer me, arnav! Why did you kiss me?!kushi spat, her face red as she bit her lips, the tingling sending spike of pleasure down her spine as she glared at her boss.she wouldn't let up, not now.
"You kissed back! arnav shot back, his cheeks tingling red and his eyes growing wild.kushi hide her mouth behind her hand, taking a step back and shivering. Just thinking about the arnav kissing her giving her chills.
" Only because you're a kiss snatching jerk! kushi retorted, her eyes not leaving arnav as she tried to get as much distance between them as possible. "What's with you anyways?
" Kiss snatching jerk? What are you then? You id the same remember arnav responded, a small snort escaping him. kushi felt her face grow hotter than it already was, looking away from arnav and clasping her necklace in her hands.
"S-shut up, you laad governor! kushi said angrily, her words slightly jumbled, as if she weren't quite right in the head at the movement, which she wasn't. That kiss through her entire world off, and she would never admit that she was relishing in the tingling she felt on her lips.
"laad governor? What was that ?arnav replied, his voice one of amusement, which only served to piss off kushi further. "What you grabbing there? Did you get a new necklace?
" Don't try to change the subject! kushi catechizes, shooting a glare at arnav. "And for your information, yes I did. Not that it was any of your concern.
arnav moved closer to peer at the necklace, but kushi took a step back for his every step forwards. It wasn't until the kushi felt the hard wood of the door bumping against her back that she let out a soft yelp, unable to move as arnav reached out, taking the necklace gently from her hands. kushi could have sworn she saw recognition in arnav's eyes.
"Where did you get this? It must have cost you a fortune arnav said, letting out an impressed whistle. kushi frowned, farrowing her eyebrows. When did arnav ever care about his possessions?
"It was a gift. kushi sad, her frown deepening as she remembered why she had purposely pissed off arnav in first place. She felt that anger return, not because of the gift, but because whoever gave it to her thought that kushi did not need to know who he was.
"From whom? I didn't know you were dating anyone " arnav questioned, and although he seemed just mildycurious, kushi couldn't help but feel that something much deeper going on. after all, arnav didn't care about her, and this was the most civil conversation they ever had.
" They... it was a farewell gift. kushi said, not knowing any other way to say it. it was a farewell, wasn't it? The masked man wanted nothing do with kushi anymore, so she couldn't understand why she felt like she was missing puzzles to this story? Who did she know that could ever possibly love her.
arnav let out a grunt, "pity. the man said, letting the necklace drop from his hands.judging by the gem alone, it seems expensive and you could stayed with them "
Was that pain that kushi heard in arnav's voice? It couldn't be. "I don't care about money, I care about the person. If they weren't willing to put in the effort, I don't see a point in even trying to hold on.kushi retorted, her hand finding the necklace again.it was warm from arnav's grasp, and it felt like a comfort to kushi.
arnav turned to look at her, a curious look in his eyes. "What kind of person are you ? Everyone I know just wants money and support. Why aren't you like everyone else? arnav asked wanting to know more about kushi, making kushi wonder grow. What game was arnav playing at? Did he sound... desperate?
" Who cares about money? In the end, its just apiece of paper that binds your life. Haven't you ever heard of free will? "kushi said back, rolling her eyes. "I thought better of you than a scrooge. Not much better, but better
"I said everyone I know, not me.arnav snapped, his eyes glowing with the familiar hatred that kushi has seen since she first started working here, but suddenly, that hatred look changed into something else, that kushi can't recognize. "don't compare me with others, who will bye things by paying money. i have a need for something else, something better than money...arnav said.
"And what that something would be? kushi asked, thought she froze when that hatred look falter in arnva's eyes. No. arnav wasn't about to say that. He couldn't say it. it would destroy everything she thought was true of her boss.
kushi ran out of the office, her mind on the longing in arnav's eyes and the single word that would turn her life upside down.

arnav looked as kushi ran out of the door, he don't even know how to respond to this... they were having some good conversation, about the necklace he gifted to her, he wanted to know how she felt about that. But here one thing let to another, and he confessed he wanted her... and her answer was she run off... he can't explain how much that hurt, this day was full of emotional ride, he was angry, he was happy that finally he kissed her, his kushi, his love. And sad the way she reacted, now he was hurt.. He doesn't even know what to do..
Not able to stand anymore, he sank into his knees with his hands closing his face as he felt his eyes were filling with water, arnav let out a shuddered breath. Before he control himself his shoulder shook with his silent cry ' he screwed up all things now '
