Tanu air kissed her friend on both cheek and said. "I am so glad, we got to hang out today Khushi. I still think you and Bhaiya should join us to watch this new play I was telling you about, this evening." Khushi smiled and shook her head saying, "I think, Arnav has an important meeting today, maybe some other day. If it is that good, I would love to watch the play."

From across the street, a disheveled looking man stopped dead in his track, and narrowed his gaze as he recognized both women, who were chatting and laughing amicably fitting perfectly in that upscale cafe scene, dressed in their fashionable designer attire. With his blood shot beady eyes, he raked the slim figure of the taller one and gave a resentful look thinking, what was she doing here in such expensive outfit and that too with Tanu?

And then his gaze froze and eyes popped out as Tanu laughed and touched Khushi's belly and said something which made that ice-maiden of his ex-fiance to blush with a smile. Bitter bile rose in his throat, his face contorted with rage and he balled his hands into a fist by his side as he assessed the stark differences in their status today. He needed to know who was sampling her charms and keeping her in such luxury these days. His bitterness escalated further as he remembered her icy demeanor towards him where she froze every time he as much as glanced in her direction, let alone touch her. Well, somebody had touched that bitch enough to put his seed in her belly from the look of it.

His mouth twisted in an ugly smile as he looked down at his own pathetic condition. Kelly had left him high and dry when she went back to US few weeks ago and left him with no money to indulge in booze and fancy drugs that he had gotten used to, while experimenting with them in these past months with Kelly. And looking like this, he couldn't even go back home in this condition.

He narrowed his gaze, as Tanu left in her car leaving Khushi alone by the cafe sidewalk and decision was made. The bitch was going to pay him, one way or the other. Because pregnant or not she still had perfect gorgeous figure and from her well groomed status, she must have money too. With his leering gaze zeroed on her lush figure, he walked, almost swaying on his feet towards her.

While unaware of approaching disaster, Khushi glanced into her watch and then took out her phone to call the driver.

Lavanya rushed behind ASR as their team finished a lunch meeting with an important client. She was already miffed as ASR had told her that he would be relieving her of her duties as his PA and if she wanted, she could join Mr. Swaminathan's team where she could make better use of her degree. She had already simmered the entire morning since she got this news and was in a foul mood. So when she got to know ASR was going for a lunch with this important client she knew it was one of those last executive lunches she would get to do with him, so she had jumped at this opportunity.

Now rushing behind him, she knew, sometimes she hated him with passion for making her this much crazy about him and hated him some more when he ignored her like this, if only she could hurt him, so he would notice her , hurt him so he would seek solace in her.

And just then she saw a scene unfolding across the street in front of Cafe Luca, that left her smiling in glee and she whistled softly under her breath and called out in sing song voice. " Oh! ASR, isn't that Khushi over there, chatting with her ex?"

Glancing at his rigid back, she knew arrow had struck at the right spot and she put a dose of concern in her voice and murmured out loudly for him to hear. " I wonder if they meet regularly?"

Here we go darlings! I am putting together the part, right now...but there is lot to write...as...there are lot of things happening in this coming part...and if every thing goes as I have envisioned for this part...it would make an interesting read. ❤️
