Hey Chick, how are you girl? Long time no see, hear etc! :)
Finally we are watching the same show again. I heard good things about this show, came to the forum and saw a post by you! I recently caught up to the show. It is truly FAB! The story, the characters, the writing, the execution. Classy and so well thought out. The acting is superb. I am so enjoying this show. Finally a show with real politics, mind games, emotions, and drama. It's all in it! The romance angle is only a minor part. This stoy is so good it sells itself.
I love that no one is all good or bad in this story. Except Sudha maybe who is just downright creepy! I dont know what that Baldev saw in her. Satrupa is so much better and classier than that woman. Really do not like the character, but the actress is good. I have not seen shows of any of these actors before, but they are all so good. Only saw Anju in EHMMBH and she played someone much older than this. This Daadi is so stylish!
Narayani and Mahima. What a killer combo? That kid who plays Vatsalya! He has the best chemistry with both Narayani and Mahima. He's really good. Satrupa's scenes with Vatsalya is what makes her feel real and human. What an amazing connection they shared? That friendship, that bond. But then Vats had the same connection with his Dad too. Maybe not the exact same, but they had a great connection too.
Thanks to Vatsalya, I have seen that aspect of a parent-child relationship. You have TWO parents and you have two relationships. One with your Mother and one with your Father. Neither are the same. But each relationship has it's unique place. Just like Anami's relationship with Pandit and Paditayan. Both share a deep connection with their daughter but the relationships are different. It's like two love affairs running in synch with each other. Hard to explain but that is how I felt watching the two dynamics of Vatsalya with Baldev-Satrupa and Anami with Murari-Madhu.
Adhiraj. I like him. He has swagger. I like his Dad too. Mystery man. I also like Poojan! He makes me laugh. But that scene he had with Adhiraj when he takes him in for questioning? Chilling. The way he said "Do you understand? You better understand!" We realise he is not some Kacha Khiladi or a fool. Good acting by the actor playing Poojan. No one in this Chakravyuh can be taken lightly.
Anyways, amazing show and just loving it. Look forward to some discussions in the future. I dont have a lot of time these days, so probably won't come here everyday, but will look for your posts for sure.
