Indeed, it was a well executed and implemented episode and it doesnt take a genius to decipher that this one must have been shot during the initial phase of the show. And what stayed with me throughout the episode was that despite the protagonists not being there, the frames were held in place by the stupendous performances of the actors. It made up for an interesting watch.

The show since its inception has been a one man show, more or less, the one whose held the fort and the post, lo and behold. And the said man became the flag-bearer for this instalment, successfully overshadowing the shoddy script and execution though his majestic screen presence and emoting. Hence, the interest for many didnt seep beyond him, for the better part of the show. However, tonight's episode showed what the show and makers were capable off. If only the rectification implemented a tad bit sooner.

Anyway, Sobti as usual was unprecedentedly compelling and that makes me an ardent appreciator of him and his talent.

Its a shame. With so many talented actors the show had to shut down. Today we did not have a Barun or Shivani and yet the supporting cast did wonders. 👏

Can't they have shown this sequence over time instead of the murgi/cork/bomb/freezer🤬 tracks?

Getting back to that 1st minute of the show. It took away the part of me with that plead.
Although the show started as a one man show; we witnessed some class acting by Ritu and today Dev's mom and dad. That aunty wali mausi too was good.

The story started with so many parallel tracks. Meeku and his nautanki, PTSD Victim, Unmarried mother, younger sister with her swag to fight boys(?) PP track, pigeon track, murli track that in midst of all the main track went out of the track😭

They had a nice ensemble cast but in the early days they went overboard with everything - introduced new characters by dozens without giving them a solid foundation. Then they just abandoned everyone and introduced a new family in Mumbai - shows that the cvs had not really thought anything through and jumped into production after only an initial concept

Chalo at least we got to see barun everyday for 3 months

They brought in too many tracks at once
and then lost track of those sub plots
And then scrapped them all one by one

Beautifully put, Ecri.
I would call it the most memorable episode in this show. Such a puzzle that this episode had the best continuity in this show. Can't help asking who did this! It looked so sensible!
