Part 1
Its night time, everyone is sleeping while Naina is writing the maths formulae in simplified form for Sameer so that she could help him before leaving for Vanasthali. She decides to write her first love letter for him expressing her feelings for him and also thanking him for his help always.
Next morning Swati is there at her home and tells her that she would really miss her after she leaves the school. Naina gives her notebook with her letter inside it to be given to Sameer and she agrees to do it. Chachi calls her outside as it was time to leave for Vanasthali. Everyone in their family is giving advice to Naina about keeping up the family reputation, studying well and taking care of her health; Naina feels as if this was her first vidaai before her marriage. Everyone was so emotional while Naina feels bad for Sameer and her family members.
Just then the phone rings and her father picks up the phone. After talking to someone on phone, tells them that Naina's admission has been cancelled as her form didn't reach the school. Everyone in the family blames him as he was the one who was supposed to do this. Chachaji console Naina that she should not be disheartened as her current school is also very good.
Naina in her room is very happy that she isn't going...that this is her good luck which made this happen.

Naina starts dancing with happiness...voiceover tells that it was very late that she came to know that it was none other than Sameer who took that form out of the letter box with his friends in order to take out his fake love letter that his friends had posted for Shefali. By mistake he took out Naina's form and that's why her admission got cancelled. Naina is unpacking and the background song continues.
At dinner time she is still lost in Sameer's thoughts while everyone is angry with Naina's father for the form not reaching there. No one is able to eat properly as Taiji is taunting her father. Chachaji asks Naina's father for readmission to the current school only.
During the night time, Naina wakes up and comes out andtakes out Sameer's pic from the flower pot. Song in background...Dil deewana bin sajna ke mane na...
Next day Rakesh brings sweets for everyone and informs them that he has been promoted to the post of special librarian and that he would have a separate cabin of his own now.
Sameer is walking with his friends and tells them that he would call his Mom and tell her that he is withdrawing from the Headboy competition as he isn't able to study. His friends motivate him that he should try to study and that he would be the head boy of the school with his hard work. Just then Naina comes and tells him that she would teach him, that her admission to Vanasthali is cancelled.
Sameer asks her when...she answers in the form of Kabir doha...kaal kare so aaj kar aaj kare so ab...
Sameer doesn't understand so she tells him that she'll teach him during free period in library. Sameer's friend asks Naina to teach him properly and they would thank her later after he becomes the head boy. Swati comes to tell her that she is very happy to see her back and that she gave her notebook to Sameer. Naina became upset because of the love letter and she had to take it back anyhow from him.
Part 2
Sameer is waiting in the library impatiently, Naina comes there and her father asks her the reason for coming there. She tells him that it was her free period...so that's why...Rakesh tells her to study properly and that he is going out for some work. She is relieved to know this and goes and sits with Sameer. Sameer was playing with a paper plane which comes and hits Naina. He asks her whether she got hurt and that he is sorry. Naina says no sorry no thank you between friends. She gave him her completely filled notebook to make a paper plane from next time onwards as its not wise to waste blank pages for this.
Naina asks him about her notebook that Swati gave him...he tries to take it out from his bag and a pack of cigarettes came out. He tells her that it belongs to his friends and that he himself tells them not to smoke as it is injurious to health. While teaching Naina's hand touches his...she starts trembling and she blushes while she is staring at him.
Part 3
Bell rings and both of them start to leave for their class. Naina is walking behind him and trying to open the zip of his bag so that she can take out that letter. Song in background...yaar bina chain kahan re...pyar bina chain kahan re...
His bag fells down and all his books come out. She apologises but at the same time manages to pick up her love letter from there also and is relieved. Along with that she sees his eye card on which his landline number is written. She tries to memorise the number but fails to remember the last digit only. She thinks that it would be something out of 1-9 and she'll try all one by one and somehow find out.
Precap:
Naina dialling the number with all the digits from 1-8 one by one but isn't able to get Sameer's number and she pats her head in disappointment.
