But Somali and Sheena have expressed my views perfectly.
JW and BW have children they have history together - should that be thrown away because Meera wears nice saris?
Definitely JM just tells the audience that evil wins. Forget all of the sacrificing and praying - God has no place in your life because praying results in nothing good. At least in KS it hasn't so far. A JM pairing would just establish evil as the winner.

The basic premise for the character of Meera was faulty. If they had placed her as a firm, no nonsense yet kind hearted business associate of JW it would have made sense. She could have been positive, been used by Jigz and JW to make Bani jealous and have added to the drama. But this doormat-ish conceptualization of the long suffering (6 years of insults and ignores) patni just doesn't gel.
Chemistry/ no chemistry is very subjective and a matter of individual opinion. But a Jai Meera love scene will instantly negate
1. The Ram-Sita jodi concept.
2. Jigz will have won
3. JW's characterization as a man who loves only Bani.
4. Ganga's very existence as she was brought into the story to reunite her estranged parents.
5. All of Bani's suffering will be laid to waste, I mean she went through so much just to fade out of the scene, reviled, unloved and misunderstood!! It'll be the triumph of negativity.
