Troubles For Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati Continue, Rajput Karni Sena Issues Warning

The first poster of Padmavati was dropped upon us earlier in the morning, and it has managed to break the internet and...how! Deepika Padukone features on it in her Rani Padmavati avatar and boy, we are falling shorts of adjectives to describe her. But we know that all this has not been an easy journey for everyone associated with the film, especially the director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film has faced many hurdles ever since it went floors with the sets being vandalized not once but twice by the Rajput Karni Sena.

And from the looks of it, the same Rajput Karni Sena is watching every move of the makers of Padmavati very closely. So yesterday, when Ranveer Singh, who plays Alauddin Khilji in the magnum opus tweeted out the logo of the film announcing that the first look poster of Padmavati will be out on Thursday, fans obviously went all berserk. "Rani Padmavati padhaar rahi hain...kal suryoday ke sath, read Ranveer's tweet. But the Twitter handle of Rajput Karni Sena replied to Ranveer's tweet with a warning as their tweet read, "Rani Padmavati agar Rani Padmavati ban kar padhaar rahi hain toh swagat hai, varna rukawat ke liye khed hoga.

Love how anybody in India can threaten anybody publically and yet not land up in Jail. I reemember during Tanmay's snapchat incident, Karan Talwar was mocked on camera by Shiv Sena rep and he even gave a dhamki to him ki now you see what happens to you.

These sena guys really need to calm their tits. There's always a better, more responsible, less crass way of dealing with issues which offend you. Vandalism, threats are not the answer! Sometimes I feel people outrage over just about anything not because they care but cus #supervelle. Matlab itne self-destructive ho sakte hai log agar brainwash karo on the basis of culture/religion/politics. No wonder why the rise of dhongi babas is also rampant.

He deserves it if he can't take actions against him. They should have been booked long time back but SLB didn't fil any complaint. Now the goons think they are in control.

Violence is wrong be it against anybody. Every movie or short film have a disclaimer in the beginning for this very reason. Whoever takes movie as complete truth is. A fool. Surprised here as some members who are actually supporting the goons here cry out loud when SRK is attacked and come up with freedom of speech/expression. Is SRK only one citizen who has freedom of speech and not anybody else?
