After wrapping up Saaho, Prabhas to begin work on a period film

Are you a fan of the dashing and charming Prabhas? If yes then get ready to rejoice as we have some awesome news in store for you. According to a leading daily, after wrapping up Saaho', the star will begin work on his next film which is likely to be directed by Radhakrishnan. Talking about the film, a source said that it will be a period film and will be wrapped up by July 2018.

"The film will be an intense drama based in the 1960s and 70s. Soon after he wraps up Saaho, he will start working on the new film, which they plan to wrap up by July 2018, added the source.

Well, this is quite an exciting development and is bound to create a buzz amongst the Rebel' actor's fans. On a related note, Prabhas was last seen in Baahubali'2 which hit screens in April and set the box office on the fire. An epic-drama, it was directed by the maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli and revolved around the rivalry between two brothers over an ancient kingdom. It also featured Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in the lead.

At present, he is shooting for the above-mentioned Saaho'. A Sujeeth directorial, it is an action-thriller and will arrive in theatres in 2018. Besides Prabhas, it also features Shraddha Kapoor in the lead and will be the first Telugu movie of the young lady's career. All in all, the era of Prabhas is well and truly upon us.
