At night on same day, IshMI came for dinner at Bhalla house only to be received by Romi. He took them inside in hall where Mr and Mrs Bhalla waiting for them. All greeted each other and Ishmi took their blessings also. Mrs Bhalla had already done all preparations and asked all to settle down on dinner table while Romi went to call Raman. After few minutes both brothers came and all settled. Raman said a hi to Mihika but didn't greet Ishita and before she could greet him he asked Mrs Bhalla to serve fast as he is very hungry to ignore being called "Mr Bhalla from Ishita again. Toshiji started serving all while Mihika too helped her. Soon all had their dinner with a little chit chat. After dinner all sat in hall. Mr and Mrs Bhalla were talking to IshMi specially Ishita about each other's life, family and work while Raman was just sitting there doing some work in mobile. There was only one person who was getting bore that was Romi who was waiting for some lone time with Mihika as both did not get time together after they informed their families about them and all agreed easily and Raman could feel same. Raman could see Romika looking at each other in between hiding from all and Romi was making irritated faces. He smiled at him and said getting up from his seat, gaining everyone's attention,
R-Romi, come with me. Mujhe kuch kam hai tujhse.
Romi was now more irritated as till now he can see Mihika at least but now Raman is taking from here for some work and said,
Romi-Bhai, abhi kon sa kam. Bad mein karte hai na. Guests aaye huye hai. Kuch to socho.
R-Guests attend karne ke liye Maa papa hai na, Hamari kya zarurat hai, haina maa.
Mrs Bhalla-Tu chup kar, hamesha bakwas karta rahta hai. Chup chap baith yahan, koi kaam vaam nhi karna abhi. Romi ki hi shadi honi hai Mihika se to usse to hona hi chahiye na yahan Mihika ke sath.
R-Shukar hai mata rani ka ki aapko yaad to hai yeh.
Mrs Bhalla-Maine na tujhe thappad maarna hai ek. Saaf saaf bol kya kehna chahta hai.
R-Jyada kuch nhi bas yahi kehna hai ki bechare dulha dulhan ko bhi thoda time sath mein dedo.
Mr Bhalla-Bat to thik hai Raman ki.
R-Romi, jaa Mihika ko ek long drive par le jaa. But jyada door mat le jana. Thik hai na maa.
Mrs Bhalla-Changa hai Puttar, tum dono jaao.
Romi got up and stood in front of Mihika extending his hand while Mihika was shy. Mrs Bhalla came and put Mihika's hand on Romi's hand assuring her. Both left and Ishita received a call and said that she is coming right now in a worried tone. Mrs Bhalla asked what the matter is.
I-Factory mein workers ne strike kar di hai.
Mrs B-But aise kaise strike kar di, koi demands thi kya unki?
I-Nhi mere pas pahle unki koi demands nhi aayi thi but abhi strike ki hai yeh kah kar ki machines bhot purani hai or usse unki jaan ko khatra hai. Any ways, I have to leave now. Mai chalti hu, Sorry auntiji uncleji, mujhe abhi jana hoga.
Mr Bhalla-Its ok.
Mrs Bhalla- Raman puttar tu Ishita ke sath chala jaa.
R-Ok Maa.
I-But Auntiji main chali jaaungi, Main hamesha jaati hu.
Mrs Bhalla-Koi par var nhi, hamesha jati thi to kya. Ab yeh parivar bhi tumhara hi hai or hum dono Mihika ke sath sath tumhare bhi maa baap hai. Isliye apne maa bap ki bat sunle.
Ishita was overwhelmed with their gesture and thanking them left with Raman in her car. She was driving but getting calls from factory again and again. Raman stopped her and changed their seats and started driving so that she could answer the calls. Within 15 minutes they reached the factory as Iyers factory and office were not so far. Ishra got down. Ishita started walking inside while Raman was following her looking around. Both went inside only to see a lot workers were sitting there calmly and the moment they saw Ishita, they didn't said anything just looking at her with hopefull eyes. Ishita calmly asked all about matter and a senior person, not so old came to Ishita and started telling her their problems while Ishita was listening to them carefully. Raman was confused as firstly he was expecting all workers shouting and a type of violence that to be outside factory but all workers sitting silently inside factory, then he thought may be seeing Ishita there the will start shouting or blaming her but no here a senior member explaining to her their each and every problem like a family member ad after seeing this it didn't take a minute for him to know that how Ishita made a family with workers just the way he used to do. He always treat his workers like a family and friends. He even used to be friend with his clients so that it will be easy for him to know their likes and dislikes and do the things as per their taste. It was impressive to him.
He was also listening to them and got to know that they had complained about machines' maintenance and other problems to the head of mechanical department in factory, Atul but he has been assuring them from last seven months that he talked to Ishita or Romi and Ishita said that they don't have money now and will do something in next month but it never happened. The workers are very loyal to Iyer's company so they were adjusting thinking it as truth. Ishita was shocked as she had given money to him for the maintenance of machines. She called Atul many times but he didn't pick calls. Ishita assured them that tomorrow morning only she will start solving all problem firstly then another work and told all the night shift workers to go back to their homes or apartment, calling off to factory till she arranged a safe environment for them. All were ready to work till morning but she denied and send them back. She discussed a little more and then Ishra were going back to home. Again Raman chose to drive and this time Raman got a call. He stopped the car and attend it which was of some client. He talked to them and it was Ishita's turn now to get impressed by the way he talked to his clients in a very polite and friendly tone. She noticed that he was trying to make him understand same thing again and again but still he was calm with a smile, not getting angry.
After some time he cut the call and said sorry to Ishita and started driving. Ishra didn't talk anything during drive back to home. Soon they reached Iyer house. Ishita asked him to come inside as Romi will be coming in some time to drop Mihika and he can go with him. Raman agreed and both went inside. Raman was looking at the house which had simple but elegant decors and it was not so big mansion, it was just perfect for their little family. He settled on sofa and Ishita asked of some tea or coffee but he just asked of a glass of water. She brought it and gave to him. He was drinking water when she said,
I-Thank you so much Mr Bhalla and really sorry to waste ur time.
He just stopped drinking water and put the glass on the table with anger making her look at him and he said finally thinking to clear it now itself,
R(frustated)-What's ur problem?
I-Excuse me. What r u saying?
R-What u r saying? Arey is it a way to talk to someone, leave someone, is it a way to talk to me?
I-But...
R-Enough, now u will hear me only. Kal se pakaa ke rakha hai, Mr Bhalla Mr Bhalla Mr Bhalla. Do u have any idea how much it hurts me when u call me Mr Bhalla? No u can't even think.
I-But Aapka naam to...
R-Exactly I have a name. My parents gave me a very nice name.
I-Vhi to maine bola ki...
R-I told u na not to say anything. Arey mere naam se mujhe bulati to main kyu aise bolta. Wait, u tell me. What's my name? Tell me.
I-Mr Bhalla.
R(getting more frustated)-Again. Arey meri maa mera bada hi pyara nam hai, Raman. Raman Kumar Bhalla or yeh bhi acha na lage to RKB. Par pls Mr Bhalla bulana band karde meri maa. Mujhe aisa lagta hai jaise Main Romi ka bhai nhi balki uska chacha hu. U know how much I got hurt from yesterday when u called me Mr Bhalla. Aaj tak kisi ne aise nhi bat ki. Arey kal sab log kitni taareef kar rhe the ki main kitna handsome lag rha hu par tumne sab khrab kar diya...
He was going on with his complaints but stopped hearing her laughing and got lost in her as this the first time he saw her laughing like a normal girl as till now he saw her behaving as a responsible sister and working woman only. Ishita who was confused earlier when got to know the reason why he is shouting at her, she burst into laughing on his cute complaint. While Raman composed himself and asked her to stop laughing at him. Ishita composed herself and said,
I-Sorry Mr Bhalla... I mean... Actually I had a habit to call everyone like this only as per my profession so that's why. Really very sorry. I didn't mean to hurt u.
R-Ok fine but stop calling me Mr Bhalla. Call me Raman, Romi and Mihika are our family only so we can be like friends at least.
He said extending his hand but Ishita was not so sure as its long time to even be with her college friends and making a new friend is just so far for her. Raman thought that she didn't like it and said taking back his hand,
R-Its ok, u can call me as per ur convenience.
Saying so he turned to go back to sit on sofa but stopped hearing her,
I-If not Mr Bhalla, Can I call u Mr Halla??
He turned back to her only to see her smiling at him while he aked confused,
R-Mr Halla?? What is this?
He said and waiting for answer with a confused look while Ishita was looking at him curiously thinking if he remembered or not. That's when something strike in his mind and his face expression changed from confused to shocked and then smiled and said,
R-OMG, how can I forget it?
Ishita smiled and said,
I-That's called intelligence. I told u na that I will remember u first and see u lost it.
R-No Miss I. V. Iyer, it's just that I gave u more easy name, Mr Halla while ur name was difficult Miss I. V. Iyer.
I-Oh really, Just because u lost the bet that's why blaming me unnecessarily. My name was easy.
In fact I gave u correct name and u gave wrong name, Mr Bhalla se bhi B remove kar diya tha.
R-That was also ur fault not mine.
I(shoke her hea in disbelief)-U r not changed. U r still same...
Romika-Same?? Changed???
Romika were coming inside when they heard Ishita's last line and got confused if they knew each other already and if yes then how?????
