Is Amba really so weak? She is a lady who told a bold lie in order to save her daughter's life. Managed to keep that lie hidden for the next 18 years. Mannu's truth came out only because she trusted the wrong guy not because Amba made any mistake. She fought valiantly for daughters rights like right to education. She stood up for her own rights. Now is she so weak that she needs her daughters to protect her?

I don't think so. If this were in real life, Amba could have broken down for a few weeks maybe months. But eventually she would have bounced back. She would have fought for her rights. But since this is a daily soap they will show her to be a weak person. Eventually when Raj and Preet will reconcile they will show Raj fighting for Amba's rights.

I don't want Raj to fight for her!!!!! He's like the worst son in law ever... Besides Amba won't like it... You can't blame her... He left her daughter in the mandap...

Or maybe he is feeling affectionate towards her right now because she is in danger. And she is supporting his brother too. But if they go ahead with this relationship without bothering to clear the misunderstanding then when something else crops up then he will be quick to blame her. Or she will never really trust him if doesn't truly repent for his deeds.

He could confess to her and she will take him back, but he has not repented for what he did. Not for breaking her trust. No for leaving her at the mandap. Not for humiliating her. Not for physically hurting her. He has neither through his actions nor through his words ever proved that he is sorry for his actions.

That is why I think this relationship will be toxic.

You know what, Ash? I really have lost hopes about the CVs making Raj repent for his deeds. I won't be surprised at all if he just takes a beating from Chander for Preet's sake and realises his love for her. As far as what I have heard, he's going to be getting hurt bad trying to save Preet. That's about it. His praishchit is done.
When the mu is cleared he'll ask for forgiveness and everything will be forgiven.
The ML actually trusting the FL after holding her responsible for so long, would be something new. And I would like to watch that.
He may later help her become the Bajwa Shah or something.

I really don't think the audience is yet ready to accept a DIL who becomes the head of her sasural.

Raj, or even Rohan aren't capable becoming a Shah. Period.
