HHi friends back with new update .Part 27
Bhalla's settled in the car and drove towards the airport as they have to catch their flight for Delhi. They all were waiting in lounge as still there was time left for their flight . Ishita was wearing a red anarkali suit with light matching jewelries, her partition was filled with lots of vermilion ,a small bindi was adorning her forehead while her handful of choora was making her look perfectly a newly married . She was sitting in between simmi and toshiji ,covering her head with her dupptta , while Raman was with his friends and cousins . Toshiji was asking something time to time, for which Ishita was just answering is only yes or no . Actually till now she has talked to toshiji and simmi in phone only but now they were sitting beside her and she was feeling nervous moreover Raman was also not around which was adding to her nervousness .
Soon their flight was announced and they all boarded their flight ,Ishita thought that may be now Raman will sit beside her but to her surprise ,simmi sat beside her .Ishita became sad ,she looked for him and saw him sitting beside his beeji . Soon the fight take off and simmi started talking to ishita ,they mixed up very soon ,they talked for sometimes exchanged their likes and dislikes then after talking some more both closed their eyes to catch small nap all the time ishita's eyes was on him only but he was busy in talking and taking care of his beeji ,its not that she wanted him to be with her always but they just got married and they are still bridegroom but he is not with him rather comforting his beeji .
They landed in Delhi and soon reached to bhalla mansion ,it was first time ishita was seeing bhalla house .Her parents had come earlier but she never got a chance to come here ,she got down from the car and saw Raman was waiting for her as they have to enter the house together . Soon she was taken beside raman ,both took their dupptta which was tied together at the time of pheres .They stood at the entrance and toshiji brought aarti thaal ,she thought that toshiji will welcome them but she gave thaal to beeji and she did ishra aarti ,put teeka on their forehead and then ishita was instructed to enter the house with right leg pushing the grains vessel inside ,she did same ,then she entered the house dipping her legs in kumkum water and they were taken to the temple of house .Their they prayed together and then simmi was instructed to take Ishita to Raman's room.
Toshiji instructed her to freshen up and rest ,ishita thought that Raman will also come after sometimes but to her surprise he didn't come,she was getting angry and sad too that he didn't come to her for once .She didn't eat anything in anger saying she is not feeling like ,soon the girls came to take her downstairs for playing the ring game and opening the thread which was tied at the time of marriage .
Ishita sat in the couch and soon Raman too showed up along with beeji ,Ishita noticed it and thought why Raman is with beeji all the time but she was too angry to think anything rationally .Soon they played game and both the time ishita won as she snatched the ring from his hands both the time and he left it happily for her ,the other rituals also got over and she was back to her room. She lays on bed and soon sleep took over her .
After about one and half hour ,simmi woke her .Ishita got up in jiffy as she thought she overslept but simmi eased her and said " bhabhi see whom I brought ".
Ishita saw ,it was her family amma , appa ,vandu and bala .She got happy seeing her family members ,they sat there itself for sometimes,amma asked how's everything .Ishita didn't told anything about Raman and told that everything is so nice and all the family members are very nice. After sometimes toshiji came and told ishita to go to hotel along with her parents , she will send the beautician there only and she can get ready for reception spending time with her family .Ishita got happy that she will get chance to spend time with amma appa but deep down she was very sad and confused .
Iyers were taken to hotel ,they were served refreshments there ,all freshened up and soon the beautician arrived ,ladies took one room while gents were in another room .Suddenly ishita panicked saying she didn't had her outfit when there was a knock at the door ,vandu opened the door and an attendant passed a neatly wrapped packet to her . Vandu took it ,they opened the packet and found a very pretty silver color lahenga with golden embroidery having a heavy red dupptta , beautifully embroidered with silver and golden .
All saw it and praised the lahenga , ishita wore it and soon the beautician did ishita's makeup tied her hairs beautifully in bun and rounded it with white flower strings ,she was looking too beautiful and pure in her attire .Amma ,vandu and beautician were praising ishita when they heard knock again ,vandu again opened the door and found it was simmi .She called her in ,actually she has brought jewelries for ishita . They made her wear the jeweleries and then simmi too got ready .Soon the party started and simmi got toshiji's call to brought ishita in the hall .They did same ,all walked in the hall and every eyes moved towards the entrance to have a look of bhalla's DIL as Raman was one of the most eligible bachelors of Delhi , everybody started praising ishita as she actually was looking devine in her silver golden awtaar .She walked slowly through the guest and reach the stage where Raman was already there surrounded with his friends ,He was wearing a Nevy blue sherwani with silver embroidery with silver churidaar with silver dupptta ,not looking less than a prince .
The moment ishita reached the stage ,his friends told him to help ishita in climbing the stage ,he did same .Got up and forwarded his hands for ishita,she looked at him ,he was already looking at her ,their eyes met for a beautiful eyelock but their trance broke immediately when simmi pushed ishita .Ishita composed herself and , she gave her hand in his and tried to climb the stair but to her bad luck ,her lehanga got stuck in her sandal and she got trip ,Raman supported her again and shook his head in disbelief as last time also she was about to fall . Seeing this his friends ,insisted him to pick her ,he look around and saw his parents they pressed their eyes giving permission to him .He smiled fully and picked ishita in his arms while she got startled with his sudden act ,his friends and cousins hooted for the couple while ishita hided her face shyly in her palm ,blushing hard .Soon they reached the stage ,Raman put her down.Both settled in the huge king chair and guests started meeting them .At first all the elders were coming so ishra got up to give them respect while ishita has to bend down to take their blessing as she was daughter in law and most were bhalla's relatives ,friends or business associates .
The reception was a huge function which got over nicely ,all the guests and relatives praised and blessed ishra whole heartedly as everybody liked ishra Jodi very much.Soon the reception was over ,iyers went back yo hotel while ishita was brought to bhalla house .She was taken to her room and made her sit nicely ,spreading her lahenga .Simmi covered her half face and spoke " though bhai had seen you a lot of times but removing the veil in this occasion is must . happy first night , hope you people enjoy a lot ."
Ishita saw her making dirty face and spoke " aisa kuch nahi hone wala ,he is such a sadu ,I m scared if he will start giving me lectures here also ,as my exams are approaching ."
Simmi smiled and spoke " kuch bhi ,bhsi itna bhi sadu nahi hai ,arey Punjabi khoon and Punjabi's are born romantic ."
I(blushing )- now you are telling kuch bhi .
S- chalo chalo ,I will leave either you will sleep with by boring talks and then bhai will curse me .
Ishita blushed listening to her while simmi left wishing her good night . It was long ishita was waiting for Raman but he had not yet come ,she saw the time it was 12.45 in night but he had not yet showed up .Ishita felt bad and rejected ,though she know very well that Raman loves her a lot ,he has confessed his love also but this indifference of his that too soon after their marriage ,made her disappointed . She started crying with indifference , she was still sobbing when ,Raman entered the room after most tiring day and smiled fully witnessing the scene in front of him.His room as well as king size bed was beautifully decorated with red and white flowers while the scented candles were giving the most romantic ambience . He then glanced at the bed and saw ishita was sitting in the middle of bed ,spreading her beautiful lehanga around her ,he face was covered with veil .
He smiled fully ,noticing everything was set exactly like the Hindi movies ,he walked to the bed and settled beside ishita removing the curtains of flower strings and spoke " are you the same ishita whom I know ".
He didn't get any answer then spoke again " oh ho ishita why are you so shy ,remove this veil ,I wanna see my beautiful wife ".
Again he didn't got any answer ,then spoke " mujhe hi hatana padega seems you are waiting for me " .
Saying so he removed the veil and got surprised noticing her puffy eyes and red face due to continues cries .He came closer to her and hugged her tight ,she cried a loud like a kid in his embrace while she patted her back to conjole her .After sometimes he teared her from him ,scooped her face in his palms and asked making her look at him" why are you crying Ishita ,any one said something to you ".
Listening to this her lips again got curved when raman asked again " ishita bolo na what happened ".She saw him and asked " where were you all the day ,I was waiting ..."
She couldn't complete her sentence and started crying again ,he smiled and asked " you are crying for such petty thing ,yaar I was stuck. "
I- stuck in what ,I know you don't like me anymore .
R- what rubbish ,are you even Listening to yourself ,kya bak rahi ho .
I- main bak, rahi hoon ,I m talking rubbish ,and you ,where were you all the time .koi apni nayi naveli biwi KO chod kar aise jasta hai kya , had you came to me for once from morning nahi na .
Raman cupped her face ,removed all the hairs stands from her face and made it made ,then made her look at him and spoke " no ,I didn't or I cannot ,I too was craving to come to you but really got stuck in something .I m sorry I kept you waiting for so long ."
She saw him and melted on his honest apology ,she made a cute pout and spoke " i missed you a lot ."He too told same and pressed his lips on her temple lovingly while she closed her eyes for feeling his soft touch .
