Please compare education systems

As is shown in Ramayan, students in ancient India stayed with their guru to get education.
How do you compare that education system with the education system of today?

I think both have advantages and disadvantages.

The gurukal system imbibes students with a sense of responsibility and respect, as compared to modern education which emphisises rights rather than responsibilities, and the self over the collective.

Students were also taught to be equals, there was no discrimination or privaleges based on background - everyone was treated the same.

The Gurukal system also gave a well rounded education - physical, spiritual, and maerial education was given. They were taught how to live rather than how to make a living.

You have written that both have advantages and disadvantages. But you have pointed out only advantages of gurukul system. Could you write some disadvantages of gurukul system? Also, could you write advanages and disadvantages of modern education system?

biggest disadvantage is that one has to live away from the famil,y in gurukul system advantages ixs that its a well rounded kind of education system
