It has been a week for ending the case, Ishita started working more hard to win back the trust of people on their products along with taking care of her Appa and she called back the previous staff also. Mr Bhalla started working again not for earing money but as this time Ishita needs him more. (Bhallas r rich but not too much.) One evening, Raman came back home after completing his duty and settled in hall calling his mother for water. He was half lied on sofa with closed eyes. He opened his eyes feeling someone's presence beside him and thinking it must be his mother or maid, he turned towards the person. He extended his hand to take the glass and looked at the person saying thanks but got shocked and took back his hand. He couldn't believe his eyes and looked straight and thought,

R(thinking)-Yeh kya tha? Nhi aisa kaise ho sakta hai. Vo yahan kaise ho sakti hai vo bhi mere liye pani lekar. Kya Raman kuch bhi mat soch. Aaj kal ho kya rha hai, sab jagah yeh hi nazar aa rhi hai. Pagal karke rakha hai...

He was go on thinking while the person was standing there confused with his behaviour. Raman shrugged it off and bend down his head in frustration and shouted again,

R-Maa, Maa, Arey ek glass pani to pila do. Koi fikra hi nhi hai bete ki...

He was saying when he received a slap on his shuolder from behind from his mother.

R-Aah, Kya kar rhe ho maa. Pani ki jagah thapad kyu de rhe ho.

T-Or ki karu main tera. Arey itni der se itni badi ladki yahan pani ka glass lekar khadi hai lekin tujhe dikh hi nhi rhi. Pagal na hoye to, chilla jaaye rha hai. Arey Ishita putar kabse glass lekar khadi hai.

Raman turned and saw Ishita again but this time he realized that it's not his illusion but she is really there. He was looking at her with horrified expressions making her nervous while Toshiji noticed it and slapped him again breaking his trance and said,

T-Kya ho gaya hai tujhe. Aise kyu ghoor rha hai usse. Bekar mein meri bachchi ko dara diya. Ishita puttar tu iss par jyada dhyan mat de yeh aadha pagal hai.

R(taking the glass of water)-Ha to mujhe kya sapna aayega ki aaj aapki yeh bachchi mujhe pani dene ke liye achanak se prakat ho jaayegi.

He started sipping water when Toshiji cleared it,

T-Usse main yahan lekar aai hu, vo aaj se yahi rahegi...

R(surprised)-What? Yahan rahegi matlab.

He said and then realised that it may be hurt her but before he could say anything Toshiji said,

T-Yeh kaisa sawal hai Raman. Main or bhallaji isse yaha lekar aaye hai or yeh yahi rahegi. Tujhe koi problem hai to nikal yahan se.

R(shocked)-Kya? Main nikal jaau yahan se. Lekin kyu?

T-Kyonki tujhe problem hai Ishita puttar ke yahan rahne se.

R-Arey meri maa, apne iss chote se dimag ko rajdhani express se bhi jyada tez chalane ki kya zarurat hai. Maine sirf poocha tha ki aap kyu lekar aaye isse or kab or kaise. Lekin nhi aapko to meri sunni hi nhi hai. Isiliye main shaadi nhi karna chahta. Arey abhi to aap meri bat sunte nhi, agar aapki bahu aa gayi to pta nhi mera kya hoga.

Till he completed, he reached to his room. Ishita smiled seeing this little sweet family moments while Toshiji sent a silent prayer to Mata Rani to keep Ishita happy like this as this is the first time she saw her smiling from heart after that incident. Mrs Bhalla used to meet Ishita regularly as she felt very bad for her and thought to give her a motherly care and love when she need it most as she has no one.

T-Ishita puttar, chal khana lag rha hai, main Bhalla ji ko bhi bula kar lati hu, tu baith jab tak.

I-Nhi aunti ji, mujhe abhi bhookh nhi hai. Mai pahle appa ko khila deti hu, main bad mein kha lungi. Aap log dinner kar lijiye.

T-Arey aise kaise bhookh nhi hai.

I-Aunti ji please, vaise bhi jabse office se aai hu tab se aapne bhot kuch khila diya hai. I promise I will have my dinner definitely.

T-Chal thik hai.

Ishita went to kitchen while Toshiji went to Raman's room and saw him busy in call. She waited for him to finish the call. He ended the call and turned only to his mother with her over sweet smile. He shook his head in disbelief and said,

R-Maa, yeh nautanki band karo or jo bolna hai jldi bolo.

T-Nautanki nhi hai. Mujhe tujhse sach mein ek important bat karni hai. Tu idhar aakar baith mere sath.

Raman settled with her on bed while she said,

T-Dekh puttar mujhe pta hai ki tujhe Ishita ke yahan aane se koi problem nhi hai par phir bhi mai tujhe btana chahti hu.

R-Its ok Maa. Aapne or papa ne jo bhi kia hai vo soch samajhkar kia hoga.

T-Hmm, so to hai. Vaise bhi tujhe to pta hai ki Iyer bhai sahab ki tabyat thik nhi hai or Ishita puttar bhi pregnant hai. Uska khyal rakhne ke liye koi bhi nhi hai or Bhalla ji ne btaya ki vo bhot chup chup si or udaas rahti hai, bas kam kam or kam. Jo bhi hua uska uspar bhot bura asar pda hai. Yeh sab usk or uske bachche ke liye thik nhi hai, Isliye mai or Bhalla ji usse yahan le aaye. Vo to aane ko taiyar hi nhi thi. Hum dono usse kisi tarah mna kar lekar aaye hai ki kam se kam delivery tak yahan aa jaye.

R-Par maa Mr Iyer...

T-Vo bhi yahi hai.

R-Matlab aap un dono ko yahan lekar aaye ho.

T-Do nhi char.

R-Char??

T-Iyer sahab, Ishita puttar, uska hone wala bachcha or swati.

R-Oh. Aise char.

T-Hmm. Ishita ke sath sath Iyer sahab ko bhi bhot care ki jarurat hai or Swati bhi Ishita ki choti bahan jaise hai, vo bhot emotional ho rhi thi to humne usse bhi yahan bula liya. Vo kal aayegi.

R-Ok. Matlab agle 9 months tak meri maa ko kisi ki to company mili.

T-Hmm. Abhi tak to 9 months hai. Ha agar ho sakega to Ishita ko hamesha yahin rakh leti hu, apni bahu banakar. Teri shadi kra deti hu usse to phir vo permanent yahin rahegi. Kya kehta hai?

R-Abhi beti bnakar to rakho, bahu ki bad mein dekhte hai.

T-Kya bat hai, mera Raman puttar to badal gaya. Shadi ke naam se bhi gussa hone wala Raman aaj bahu fix karne par bhi gussa nhi ho rha hai. Kuch bat hai to bta de mujhe bhi, hum bhi khushiyan mna lenge.

R-Kya maa aap bhi. Aisa kuch nhi hai. Chalo mujhe bhot bhookh lag rhi hai, aap jao main change karke aata hu.

T-Chal koi nhi, mat bta.

R-Maa..

T-Thik hai, kuch nhi bol rhi. Tu jaldi se neeche aaja.

She left leaving a smiling Raman behind. After 10 minutes, Raman went downstairs only to see Mr Bhalla and Mrs Bhalla waiting for him. He settled and Toshiji was getting up to serve him but he stopped her and said that he will serve himself. Both smiled at their caring son and started eating while Raman was about to serve when his mobile started ringing. Raman checked and attended the call seeing his senior's call. He talked for 1 minute only and got up. Before he could say anything, Toshiji asked what happened.

R-Nothing maa, vo sir kuch important mail kar rhe hai to mujhe vo abhi check karna hai. Main thodi der bad dinner karta hu.

T-Thik hai tu jaa main...

R-Aap mera wait nhi karoge. Aap time dinner complete karo or rest karo. I will have my dinner myself.

T-Par..

R-Ohho Maa, aap meri tension mat lo. Main apne aap khana lekar kha loonga. Yeh pahli bar nhi hai. Or vaise bhi ab to aap apni beti le aaye, uska khyal rakho itna, mera nhi. Papa aap samjhao inhe. Ok bye. Good night.

Mr Bhalla-Kya Toshiji, itni tension mat lo. Raman bilkul sahi bol rha hai. Aapko to pta hai uska kam hi aisa hai. Relax.

Toshiji had her food half-heartedly but being a mother, she was worried for her son. They had just completed their dinner when Ishita came with tray after feeding Appa.

T-Arey Ishita puttar, acha hua tu aa gayi. Chal tu baith, Main tere liye khana lagati hu.

I-Nhi aunti ji aap rahne dijiye. Main apne aap le loongi. Aap jaakar rest kijiye.

T-Lo ji. Yahan to sab bhot bade ho gaye hai. Kisi ko meri help chahiye hi nhi. Sab apne aap kar lenge. Thik hai, ab main to budhdhi ho gayi na.

She said and went angrily towards her room while Ishita got confused with her behaviour and Mr Bhalla smiling.

I-Auntiji ko kya hua uncle. Thodi der pahle to unka mood ekdum acha tha. Abhi achanak se kya hua.

Mr Bhalla-Arey nothing, it's daily routine.

I-Main samjhi nhi.

Mr Bhalla-Actually u know na Raman is Police officer so it's his daily routine to skip food or have it late, sometimes he comes late or sometimes he got some urgent work and left without having dinner or due to some other reasons. He rarely got time with us. Aaj bhi vhi hua. Raman dinner ke liye aaya tha but ek urgent call aaya or vo mail check karne room mein chala gaya. Raman ne Toshiji ko mna kar diya ki vo uske liye wait na kare, he will do his work himself and u also told same thing so she is angry.

I-She must be hurt.

Mr B-Arey nhi. U don't worry about her. Abhi mai usse uski favourite loaded dunga or sara gussa khatam. U don't worry. Ok. Good night.

I-Good night.

Mr Bhalla left while Ishita was going to kitchen but then went to her room and came after changing into night clothes. She went to kitchen only to see Raman was warming food happily. She heard him,

R-Kya bat hai. Aaj to maa ne mere favourite Rajma chawal banaye hai. Itne din bad khane ko mila hai. I just can't wait.

He was excited like a kid and Ishita smiled seeing his new avatar which she is seeing today from evening after earlier angry avatar during the case. Raman felt someone's presence and turned only to see Ishita standing there smiling but when she saw him looking at her so she composed herself.

R-Tum yahan? Kuch kaam tha?

I-Ha vo actually main..vo Khana...

She said pointing towards food. Raman remembered that Toshiji said that she had gone to feed Mr Iyer at the time of dinner so understood that she also came for dinner and said,

R-Oh, Ok. It's almost done. U sit. I'm bringing it.

I-No, it's ok. I will do it. U go.

R-Arey ho gaya. Jaao. Main le aaunga. Tum ladkiyon ko pta nhi aisa kyu lagta hai ki hum ladke yeh sab kam nhi kar sakte.

I-Nothing like.

She said going out and sat on dining table. Raman brought all bowls and sat beside her. Ishita was about to serve when he stopped her and said serving both,

R-Aisa chance kabhi kabhi milta hai ki SI Raman Kumar Bhalla kisi ko serve kar rha hai. So just grab this opportunity and enjoy.

I-That means u don't like to do all this.

R-Nothing like this. This is nothing, I even know cooking. I used to cook for me, Maa and Papa but now it's a big thing to get time for myself and my family. So that's why I said to grab this opportunity. Ok enough, now have it.

Both started eating. Raman was really very hungry so he was eating a little faster than usual while Ishita was not so hungry as she ate fruits and juice in evening so she was eating slowly. Raman was noticing her Firstly he thought that she must be feeling awkward or uncomfortable but at last h couldn't stop himself and asked,

R-Tum hamesha se aisi ho ya abhi nayi nayi bani ho?

I-Huh..Kya?

R-Arey tum hamesha se hi itne dheere khati ho ya ahi naya shok pala hai.

I-Nhi vo actually muhe jyada bhookh nhi hai. Auntiji ne office se aane ke bad bhot kuch khila diya tha. Mujhe medicines leni hai that's why I'm eating.

R-Oh, its all right.

Ishita had completed he dinner and got up to go when she heard him,

R-By the way, Aadat dal lo. Maa roz tumhe aise hi khilayegi.

He said smiling making her smile too. She left to kitchen and was washing the dishes when Raman too came with plates and Raman denied to wash his plates and he clean it himself but Ishita insisted and he gave up finally. Raman put left food in fridge and clean the table till she clean the dishes. Both left to their rooms which were beside each other. Ishita was going to her room when she turned and wished him smiling and he too replied smiling,

I-Good night.

R-Good night. Sweet dreams...

She left when he continued, "...about me. He smiled and entered his room. Both slept with a sweet smile on their faces...
