I too thought somewhat same. I interpreted it as follows.

Advay put the bangle in the left hand first without opening the screw. The left hand in a woman's hand indicates her husband.

They are the family bangles, so what was shown today will happen when Advay will accept he is her husband and she is his wedded wife.

Thus there will be no hurdles when Dev/ Advay falls for Chandni . Once she knows it is Dev and his past and how he thought it was Chandni whose actions killed his parents, she will easily let him in her life. May be nani will help to remove the misunderstandings between them.

But when Advay tried to put it in the right hand, there were hurdles. The right hand indicates your life. Chandni has been wearing that before marriage. They symbolize the chains Indrani has put on this girl. Advay most likely will stumble on Indrani's truth. Then Chandni will help Advay overcome the hurdles and expose Indrani.

Chandni will not let Indrani come between her and Advay.
