Sandhya gave the marriage chance even they are so different.

So, I think Kanak has same potential when it comes to relationship and with the advise of Bhabho hope we get progressive scenes

It's sandhya who changed the Rathi's views otherwise Sooraj may not be ideal husband as we all thinking but at the same note I don't think it's everyone cup of tea to change. Sooraj is honest and good at heart which made those possible.

Like the title DABH, they complement each other by being a light to the family.

Sandhiya was lucky because firstly suraj was the perfect husband to begin with. He just couldn't argue with his mum and hurt her feelings so Instead helped sandhiya with the tests given by bhabo. gradually he saw how his mum was unreasonable and started speaking up. And secondly he wasn't an extremist on religion and so she was able to fulfil her dreams after marriage of her supporting husband. She became the perfect daughter in law at home and had a career that she always wanted. Even at the beginning sandhiya didn't know how to run a house do the basic duties like cooking. Eventually she was perfect at home and at her job ( i remembered after watching the show i wanted a husband like sooraj, still do but this time with a hint of Uma Shankar's fit body)

Whereas bechari kanak has got double the trouble. Very dharmic hubby who doesn't do anything that his dharam doesn't allow him to and the of course the typical MCP that he is. ( but when he replied to Officer Arpita, I thought chalo at least he said few truthful things about women). So kanak will have bigger battles to fight and prove her points.

But both Maa-beti's nature is that they both understand what relationships are and that you can't just run break it but instead work on it and improve it for both. But sandhiya wasn't as mischievous as kanak and we all know kanak will pull Umas leg a lot. Can't wait for those funny and mischievous scenes of them both.

I love TSMP motto that having the total opposite can also be your perfect life partner. And I'm glad the sequel isn't about the same old supporting husband.otherwise I would've thought I'm watching DABH again with different actors. Glad it's something new and a bigger challenge for kanak.
