I get when dadi said she wants Kirti Naksh to be in focus since it is their wedding, she is speaking as a grandmother, that point I got but what did Dadi mean by "sab kuch Kirti ke hissab se sab kuch hona chaiye". Meaning "everything" in the wedding Kirti should decide.

My confusion is in Kaira wedding when did Naira or even Karthik decide things.

1. Venues were chosen by family.

2. Engagement ring by family. Poor Karthik wanted to make his would be wife were a ring that he got with his own money for the engagement, but had to make her wear it privately instead.

3. Their wedding wasn't a theme one, except the cocktail and bachelorette party. Cocktail party was arranged by Goenkas so Naira hadn't choose the theme. Bachelorette party toh I don't know who choose the hawain theme but I know that Dadi didn't know about the party.

The only thing Naira choose is SuvarNish coming to the engagement which was something the whole Goenka family wanted except karthik and yes she chose that she would wear the wedding dress her mother got for her. She only made the choice for herself.

So if now Dadi wants Kirti to make the decisions, why she didn't give all rights to Naira or even both Kaira then?

Agreed, but she said this under the influence from Surekha. If Surekha didn't mention that Naira is getting all the praise and how she was jealous of Naira, i don't think dadi would've said anything to Naira. I agree that Kaira couldn't even decide what they wanted more their wedding. But i agree word for word on this. Well done Janvi

Surekha influenced her, so what, doesn't Dadi have her own mind to think. Even during the engagement she was happy seeing Kaira re engagement than started making a face after Surekha filled her ears.

KD is an epitome of dual standards...KD was the one who encouraged Keerti to stay in abusive relationship...Now all of sudden her love for Keerti is overpowering her thinking ability...For Naira family relationships should be above everything for Keerti her own happiness should be above everything...

Because KDadi is a hypocrite. They want their daughter to be a daughter at mayka and sasural but they want their D-i-l to be only a D-i-l in sasural and nothing in mayka.

The worse part is people like this actually exist in the society. In-laws who except that girl should now leave or prioritise her sasural over mayka BUT she'll not even be accepted as a full member of that house.

And yes - Surekha is partly to be blamed but people like exist and they add fuel to fire. K Dadi is not a kid w/o a mind. She should/could have used her own better judgement.

I think what Dadi meant was that the family should look to Kerri to decide things now, Dadi is worried about her status as daughter in the sighania family, right now they go to Naira for everything, so she wants them to go to Keerthi. She wants Keerthi to have that importance like Naira. But I don't think Keerthi is that type of a personality.

I don't think dadi knew that Kirti and Creep relation was abusive because she seemed shocked as everyone else seeing that creep was about to throw a vase at Kirti. Later she told Kirti to go to meet him after creep convinced her that he had only done that act in anger. Yes they indicated that Kirti did tell dadi about trouble on her marriage but the did not say what Kirti exactly said to Dadi.

Though I agree on double standards, she wants Kirti to be accepted as a daughter in that family, she wants Kirti to get Naira's place. But when it comes to Naira then bahu, beti nahi ban sakti, that to when Naira doesn't even want Kirti's position she wants to make her own position nd replace nobody,

Why should Singhanias look to Kirti for deciding things. Do Goenkas live their life to how Naira wants? So why can't Singhanias take a choice of the person, they find the best. Now Dadi is telling Naira but what if Akshara was alive, Singhania family would be going according to her choice, so then would she go to tell her granddaughter would be saas that, you get down from your position so my granddaughter can take it.
