Chapter 33 Khushi on Page 3!

Arnav landed at 6 am. Indian time. He just wanted to rush back home and be with his Khushi... He was missing her animated excitement and wanted to know how her party last night wet...

Drive Mohan was waiting outside the airport... Arnav decided to grab couple of newspapers before getting in the car.

It was already 7 am and traffic was slowing increasing...

Arnav went through his favorite daily newspaper Economic Times... After reading the important business news, he glanced over to other newspaper and his eyes went to Page 3...

He was shocked to see Khushi and Ankit's picture on Page 3 with the heading "Business Magnet Ankit Khanna's new muse Miss. Khushi Kumari Gupta, the upcoming Chef... A beauty with brain...

Khushi proved it right that the way to man's heart is through his stomach... Ankit Khanna has openly shown his fondness for Khushi's authentic cooking and even has no hesitance to declare her a winner in advance... She is his favorite pick...

In fact he used his veto power initially to give Khushi a chance when all other judges wrote her off considering her too young... And she seems to be proving Ankit right and Ankit can't be more proud...

Ankit has been frequently seen at Oberoi enjoying delicacies cooked by Khushi, and we all know that's where she has been preparing for the final rounds...

Their love seem to be brewing strong during the show interactions and the picture from yesterday's party says it all... Ankit has never been dating anyone in India after coming from UK seems to be taken by Khushi Kumari Gupta...

They seem to have grown closer than ever before and look so good together and we wish them all the best...

It was as if the earth shatter beneath his feet for Arnav...

Just two days he was not here and what must have happened for people to write such aggressive stories...

Arnav looked at the picture carefully...

Ankit's hand was on Khushi's shoulder as if he was side hugging her and Khushi looked very excited... Maybe when he selected her as his pick as a winner, they were together and the picture was taken...

Arnav is raged to see Khushi closer to Ankit in public when she happens to be so shy with him...

Arnav saw Khushi sleeping in the same blue dress... First his heart melted to see her innocent face but then who was he kidding? His anger came back right away remembering the pic and Page 3 news... Was she drunk not to even change her dress and slept off like that?

HP came behind Arnav and kept the bag in his room and just then Khushi got up...

"Oh god, its 7.30 already... I had kept the alarm exact same time as Arnav's landing..." She blabbered to herself and saw Arnav inside the room waiting for HP to dump his luggage and leave...

Arnav locked the door and Khushi was surprised at his actions...

"Good morning Arnav, I am glad you could resolve most of the problems and be back in time..." She got up and walked towards him to give him a hug... She was still walking dazed and sleepy...

"What's going on Khushi? How could you?" Arnav nailed her to the wall... His hold was very harsh and she could see rage in his eyes...

"What happened Arnav?" Khushi suddenly was wide awake and looked into his eyes trying to gauge what he was mad about...

"What were you doing yesterday night at the party?" Arnav asked her in no nonsense tone straight to the point...

He threw all the newspapers on the bed in front of her... Khushi looked at her own Page 3 pic and shivered looking at the news...

"Arnav, trust me... I have no idea how did this picture came in news... I wasn't even doing anything in the party. Just enjoying cocktail with Simran in a corner..." Khushi was trying to recall what all happened last night...

"Were you dancing with him? Chatting with him and something happened?" Arnav asked her angrily...

"Why would I dance with Ankit? Hell no..." Khushi replied immediately with her reflexes but could see his hands fisted to control the anger... He even hated to hear Ankit's name from her mouth now...

"I mean no... I did not dance with anyone Arnav... Oh, now I remember... Maybe because he picked me as his favorite to win the show but even other judges talked in favor of me..." Khushi recalled.

"And why are you still wearing the same dress from the party? Did you come home that late or drunk not to even change your clothes?" Arnav was still hopping mad...

He was so angry he hugged her so hard almost suffocating her and kissed roughly almost punishing her and Jealousy certainly etched with that... He suddenly let her go ready to walk away from her before he does something wrong in his anger and would repent later...

"You are mine Khushi, damn it... Don't you ever forget that? And so many times I have warned you not take others so casually... You are only mine... He roared...

Khushi slowly slides down the wall having no energy to still stand, tears flowing through her eyes constantly...

"Arnav, I just wanted to show you the dress and ask how I look as soon as you come back... Thinking about you, I just slept off... But I guess it doesn't matter anymore..." She whispered to herself while trying to hold him back by holding his hand...

Arnav heard her and left from there banging the door...

"Aman, I need the full video from Khushi's Master Chef Party yesterday and what is Ankit's role in it... I will be reaching the office in half an hour..." Arnav fired orders to Aman from the terrace... He was not going to let someone get away easily after such a vile news...

"I should have believed in my instinct... How will I make him believe me?" Khushi was still sitting numb leaning on the wall...

Arnav just then entered the room again, pulled out clothes and went to the bathroom... By then Anjali came to their room... Of course she has seen the news and was worried for her Chote's reaction...

"Chote, this must be another typical Page 3 news just like they have printed many times linking you with so many models... I just hope you understand Khushi and not mad at her..." Anjali defended Khushi... Who was she kidding? She along with Nani and NK have always seen so much love for Arnav in Khushi's eyes...

"Di, I really need to go to office right now... I still need to attend couple of meetings related to London project" He was in no mood to talk to anyone...

"HP, give me a cup of coffee now" He shouted while walking down the stairs...

"Khushi, please don't cry... Everything will be fine... Arnav is just angry right now but he will talk to you when he calms down... Get ready, you have a big day ahead today!" Anjali tried to move Khushi from the floor and get her ready.

"Nothing will be fine Di... Did you see how angry he was? He doesn't trust me..." Khushi threw herself in Anjali's arms.

"No Khushi, get ready first and then we will decide what to do next and how to talk to Chote?" Anjali forced to freshen up and come down...

Khushi came down ready and Anjali fed her breakfast and have her favorite tea...

"Khushi, maybe I will call Chote and talk to him" Anjali suggested...

"Khushi Bitiya, I am with you... Arnav is just angry with sudden news but I am sure he will understand..." Nani also supported Khushi...

"Khushi, if you want I can talk to Arnav and explain him..." NK felt sorry for Khushi and offered to help...

"No, I will go to his office and talk to him... I know what I want to do..." Khushi said determined... Just then Khushi's Babuji called.

Stop crying first Khushi" Khushi's Babuji was not sure how to console her when she was crying constantly and not saying anything at all...

"Khushi, I did not call to ask any explanation from you... Just wanted to say if you are right, be brave and explain it to Arnav and your family... I am sure they will understand... I have seen Arnav being very caring and understanding so just try to talk to him directly... Don't keep quiet and clear the misunderstanding..." Her Babuji restrained himself saying he has seen love for her in Arnav's eyes... He has never heard Khushi talking about them in love and he knew for sure their relation was progressing well but not yet reached there...

"I will Babuji... Thanks so much for your support... Even Di, Nani and NK are with me here... I am going to Arnav's office and will talk to him soon..." Khushi promised herself and looked at the clock... It was already 10.30 am.

"Good morning Khushi, please have a seat... ASR is still busy in a meeting. He will come as soon as he wraps up his meeting... He is supposed to be down by 11.30 am and it's almost time..." Aman escorted her to Arnav's cabin and ordered tea.

"Are you here to sign the documents?" Aman did not want to talk about the Page 3 news and tried to divert her mind...

"Which document? I don't know anything" Khushi was again in for another surprise...

"Never mind, ASR will explain..." Aman realized he shouldn't have asked her about the restaurant property papers as ASR might be planning to surprise her... And he escaped saying he will send in tea and snacks...

Khushi sitting in Arnav's cabin waiting... Just then fax arrived in his all in one printing machine... It started beeping asking for additional papers...

Looking at no one around, Khushi decided to pull out drawers of his table and look for stationary. She saw A4 size paper bundle in the bottom drawer and she pulled it out to feed in the papers...

She felt the earth crumbled under her feet when she saw another bundle of papers...
