"If I had to trust someone between you and Tia, I would trust Tia. Not once but a thousand times!" Shivaay said firmly.
"Open your eyes and see Shivaay! You're making a mistake again." Anika replied slightly agitated.
"Shivaay Singh Oberoi doesn't repeat his mistakes. You have already broken my trust once, Anika I won't let you do it again." Shivaay walked away not being able to look her anymore as the memories flashed back in his mind.
"What do you mean Shivaay?" Anika asked.
"If I didn't know your real face Anika. Even I would've thought that you're the most humble and nice person on this planet. But no! I know your truth Anika. I know your real face." He pointed a finger at her.
"What truth Shivaay? What are you talking about?! Please. Please tell me." She asked impatiently.
Shivaay turned away angrily only to be held back by Anika. She jerked his arm forward and made him face her. She had had enough of his daily taunts. She would find out the reason today.
"You always taunt me Shivaay that I have lied to you. I have betrayed you. Please tell me what have I done." Anika pleaded.
"I don't have time to waste on you Anika. Let me go!" He said through gritted teeth.
"No Shivaay. You have to take time for me! I can't bear to see the accusations thrown at me through your eyes. You have to tell me what I have done." Shivaay grabbed her by the shoulders.
"You have broken my trust Anika!" He pushed her away harshly as she staggered back.
"You are a cheap, characterless woman. You have under this roof spent one night with Daksh. You slept with him!"
Anika looked at him in shock as tears rolled down her cheek.
"You- you really think that I -- You think that I could --"
"Don't Anika. Stop this facade. I know your real face. " Shivaay spat. "And not only did you spend the night with him but also took money for it. 15 lakhs, Anika. 15 lakhs! For a middle class family, Anika. You are quite expensive." Shivaay said disgusted. That was it. Anika lost it. She raised her arm to slap him when he caught it mid way twisting her hand behind her back.
"Till date, you have told me a lot of things. You did a lot of things. But I didn't say anything. I did not break, Shivaay. But today, you broke me Shivaay. The only thing I had left was self respect. But you-" She choked on her tears.
Shivaay stepped forward, "At first I thought I was wrong. But maine apni aakhon se dekha hai Anika! I was right. And I never thought that being proved right would hurt so bad! And that is why Anika,"
He grabbed her face with his free hand roughly, "That is why, I hate you Anika. I just -"
She mustered up all the courage she had left and pushed Shivaay away. She wiped her tears away and looked at him determined. "I have had enough Shivaay. Aaj tak aapne jo bhi kiya, mein chup chap sehti rahi. Par aaj nahi. Aaj aapne jo kiya na Shivaay. I will never forgive you for it. Never."
With that she walked away, promising herself to never step back into Oberoi Mansion again. She was done. Done with everything. Done with Shivaay. For good!
